Well, it's great if you don't have work orders. I've lived here 3 months, and my a/c has gone out 3 times, with this recent time seeming to have broken the unit entirely. They're putting off the fix unless it's at least 85 degrees outside, regardless of the fact that I've been running a fever this week and live on the second floor. So essentially, they don't care if their residents live uncomfortably, and that should always be the first goal of an apartment complex.
Pros - The complex is quiet and feels safe. Balconies/patios are not clutered with stuff, common grounds are kept clean and in good condition at all times, dumpster is always taken care off, pool is always clean as well as the laundry and fitness area. The maintenance staff are great and take care of things reasonably fast.
Cons - Poor window and door sealing lets cold air in the winter or hot air in the summer in, increasing heating or cooling bills. Some AC units are just too old, which also results in higher electricity bills. Apartment features could be stepped up a notch.
Its my first apartment an i love it. They do need some remodeling though an i think the outside should be worked on.
Would like the rent increases on renewal to be less...each year goes up about $40 ...would like it to be les maybe $20 ...will lose tenants I feel if continues to be so high
