I have lived here for a few months now and would not recommend this property to anyone. I have had issues since I have moved in. My deposit was overcharged and changed twice prior to moving in. Once I did move in they forgot to add a charge, and the manager threatened to kick me out 3 days after I moved in because their billing was incorrect. I paid the bill they sent me but they didn't add all the charges. To this day I am still unable to pay rent unless it is the 1st. This sucks for someone like me who travels for work. I have never lived anywhere where you are unable to prepay next month's rent. Management is a mess.
The apartment amenities are nice, and so far everyone has been friendly. I will say it is loud having wood floors on top of you. But other than that not a whole lot of complaints as far as amenities go.
Do not move here!!! We have lived here since March 2019 and this is what our yard his look like ever since. We have fought with management since we have lived here and they have yet to repair our yard. We pay an extra $400 a month for a fenced back yard for our dogs and this is what we get. Pure mud, day in and day out. Sunshine or not our yard is just mud. Now they have changed management and it's full of nothing but temps and no one is helping us. And now we have coyotes, and they're blaming us, the tenants! They offer valet trash service and tell us not to leave our trash out or they're going to charge us a $50 fine. Rather than give us any solutions or answers they tell us it could be next spring until they could fix our yard. Our lease will be up by then and we will have wasted all of this money for a yard that we cannot use. We are paying $1700 a month for a 700 square-foot apartment with a yard for no reason. These are far from luxury
I love the Santal, it's one of the best spots I've seen in Austin. However, Travis (the maintenance guy) is one of the most discustingly disrespectful persons I've come across.
