Until my current upstairs neighbor moved in I would have rated living here as Excellent as I am close to work & pay a reasonable rent. I've lived in 3 apartments here beginning January 2001. Now my neighbor stomps and thuds and booms around starting at 7am or earlier & continues until well after 10pm. I work 6pm to 12 or 2 am & sleep during the day. The noisy, elephantine neighbor is ruining my daily enjoyment of life 24/7. Can't someone tell them to be considerate of the downstairs neighbor?
Roaches, Ants, and other bugs Galore. Loud and inconsiderate neighbors leave trash everywhere. Flooding from rain and sewage. I can only go into so much detail with the character limit but avoid this place at all costs. You may like the location and price but it comes with the above issues.
No one responded to my inquiry. The must have 100% occupancy or not care. If this how they act before hand imagine how they would act once they had you under contract.
It seems like the prices online are always lower than reality. Plus there are so many expensive fees that raise a 12 month lease by $20-$40/mo.
Renting a room from a homeowner is SO much cheaper. I posted a notice to my Facebook friends and got several offers.
Avoid this place! The rent prices might look cheap but those small fees WILL add up ever month;and when you ask at the office, every person will give you a different answer. The place is INFESTED with roaches and bedbugs. You will pay for Pest control but the roaches will stay. If you get a unit close to the office, it stays relatively quiet, but any unit farther away means LOUD noise at 3am. They have laundry on site, but half of the machines don't wash/work. The pool opens for like 1 month in the summer. Overall, it's not worth the headache.
