This complex was built in the 80s. They have done some remodeling but it was done cheaply. Cracks in the exterior of the buildings, bug issues, rodent issues, read reviews on yelp. They are true issues recent issues. To get anything big taken care of you have to keep contacting the apartments over and over. Ac units are old which means higher electric bills. Nasty dog poop all over the grassy areas and constantly full doggie poop cans on the property. The prices are good for the area but not worth the headache of dealing with an apartment that doesnt want to do the right thing and help get issues safety issues fixed in a quick manner. Lots of break ins the parking lot and that area in general. Read spotcrime website and put in 78759 area code. The apartment parking lot is constantly over full because of tenants im sure with extra guest staying so you have to walk far in the dark creepy parking lot at night. The pool is nice if you want to deal with drunk people around you and your kids and smoking in your face. Many people bring way over the number of guests allowed. Drive by on a saturday and see what i mean. Read reviews on yelp and other places. The apartments are nice until you have an issue then they ghost you. Please dont move here. I promise you its a headache and these apartments need a good thorough building inspection. Drive through the apartments late at night and see how dark it is. The gym is nice but creepy to go into that little building with wide open windows for anyone to see you in there alone.

The one thing that would improve the community is to completely have all apartments ready for move in when tenants are ready to move in. My apartment was not ready on the scheduled move in date, everything from dirty toilets to carpet not being replaced as I was promised. I still live with stains on the carpet to this day, which is two and a half years later.

Walk through apartments before tenants move to check for repairs. I moved in last June to find extreme water damage. I had to move in regardless and live in boxes and plastic coverings over everything and dust for 2 months. Several pieces of furniture were ruined from the repairs. The contractors ruined the wood floors from moving my furniture. The final repairs look horrible. You can still see the water damage outline and the walls are still bubbling and cracking in several places. My first month electric bill was $300 and and had to have my a/c replaced. The pipes knock from water use constantly from neighbor's water use. The bathroom is falling apart. The entire upstairs bathroom needs to be repaired and redone. The water stinks. There was a water leak in my downstairs neighbor's bathroom. We couldn't use one shower for over a month with no compensation or updates. The cabinets downstairs are warped and will not close correctly. There are burns on the countertops that the office refuses to repair. You want to raise my rent $100 a month. This is unacceptable. My rent should stay the same for the trouble and suffering. No compassion.
