I hate this place!!! This property will nickel and dime you for everything from late fees to trash fees... to paying for pest service that you have to call and request! Im sooooo glad that my lease is up in September! They do not work with you ... no matter the circumstance! Please dont respond to me if you all arent really going to do anything to really address my concerns.

I have lived here for about 12 months.
I was not able to see my unit until the day that we had moved and we had paid for everything (rent and other fees).
One of the things I immediately notice was a smell in the living room. It was coming from the carpet or the closet. It smelled like cat litter. It was very bad during the summer.
So I notified the leasing office of this issue immediately. I submitted 3 requests. They sent the same guy 2 times and supposedly sent someone out a 3rd time while I was not home. Each time they say they do not smell anything. Everyones sense of smell is different, so I let it it go and try to mask the smell with some baking soda. It only helped a little bit - I had to live with this smell because Artisan was unwilling and/or unable to resolve this.

Fast forward to around September when Hurricane Harvey hit. There was some water damage to the ceiling of my apartment (I was on the bottom floor). When I first noticed it I submitted a request to get it fixed. The maintenance guy comes and looks at it. He says Yeah that needs some work. And then he leaves. He did not tell me whether or not they were going to fix it or give me an ETA.
Guess what? It was never fixed.

Now I am moving out. My insurance had cancelled, but renewed the same day, a Sunday. Artisan gets notice of it and tells me to show proof of insurance. It was on a Sunday and my agent, like most businesses, is not available on Sunday. So come Monday I get the necessary proof and upload it on their website. They tell everything went through and Im good to go. The document I sent them showed that I had insurance on that Sunday. I called the leasing office and ask that they revert the charge because I did have insurance. They tell me because I did not submit proof on Sunday that they would not revert the charges.
They are quick to fine you, but when it comes to the customer needing service they will drag their feet and refuse to correct the issue.
This place is not worth it.
