What can you say about apartment living? Sometimes you deal with noisy neighbors. There are times that others forget they live in a community and not in the country. That's apartment life. It comes with the territory so to speak. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and realize that not everyone may be as considerate as you are.
As far as this community, it's very nice. The apartments are well appointed. They are apartments but don't feel that way inside. I am very happy with my little one bedroom home. The color scheme, the floor plan and the overall layout is very welcoming after a long day of dealing with those I'd rather not have to deal with. My home is efficient. My average electric bill is about $22. Keep in mind I'm single and make it a point to avoid unnecessary usage. My home is comfortable, despite my frugality.
The maintenance staff, in my opinion, is awesome. Donald is spot on when an issue arises. He is very professional and treats my home with respect. He even wipes his feet before entering. Any time I have an issue, which hasn't been many, he's been extremely punctual in contacting me to get the problem resolved.
The office staff...well two words...they ROCK! I've never had an issue getting information or answers as needed. They are professional, yet fun to talk to. They aren't uptight like alot of places. They really seem to enjoy what they do and it reflects in their demeanors. Hands down some of the nicest people I've dealt with in apartment living. I've had the pleasure of meeting the district manager as well. We didn't know one another five minutes and we were laughing and cutting up. That's the environment here, again, in my opinion. Great people, enjoyable to interact with, courteous, as well as respectful. Can't beat that in today's "I'm too busy to deal with you" world.
I absolutely love my apartment but was extremely disappointed when I sat on my balcony a few days to the very strong smell of urine. I was informed by a neighbor that the person upstairs allows her dogs to urinate and poop on the balcony and its been trickling down to my balcony. Thats some kind of nasty! I dont have a pet and shouldnt be subjected to the smell of someone elses animals. And the heat doesnt make it any better!
HERE AT LANDING LITTLE ELM YOU HAVE PLACE THE BEST PART OF YOUR TEAM WITH ALL THE SUPPORT THAT IS AND TEAMWORK AND SKILLS. A VERY SUCCEESSFUL GROUP OF LADIES CHRISTINA KRISTIN STEPHANI TAMMY. A GOOD PART OF YOUR TEAM!!
Management sucks, they tell you they will call you back about an issue but never do. You need to blow them up to get something resolved.
The construction workers think its cute to have a full conversation while blocking the road - They were just laughing at me while I nicely asked them to move. Provided picture below.
You need a smart phone to get into the gate because you open the gate through an app SO pray your phone is not dead while the office is closed because you wont be able to get in.
When I toured the apartment Christina told me they were amazing because the walls were made to where you cant hear your neighbors - LIES! I can hear my neighbors conversation clearly inside my apartment and as soon as the ppl upstairs moved in, it was a nightmare!!! Called the office to complain so they could reach out to them and was told I had to do it myself lol. What a joke!
Good place to leave with kids
