What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Alamo Heights

Older well maintained homes with new construction fitting into surroundings. Great grocery stores in area. Several different eating establishments

I like It because it's close to downtown. I like it because I have good neighbors. I like It because there are pretty sunsets.

Bill Miller's Barbecue, The Pearl brewery complex, Houston Street and Blue Star Art Space in the King Williams Area. Also the Hill Country is a popular area for tourism and outdoor sports.

A truly great neighborhood is one in sync with your current lifestyle. Both renters and homebuyers tend to gravitate to areas with similar demographics. Just as a fantastic suburban neighborhood in a gated community may not be right for a young single professional, a family with three small children would likely be miserable living in a small condo in a hip downtown neighborhood.

It's close to downtown where I work and it is in a central area of town. The food close by is excellent.

I like the connections we have with our neighbors. It's a very tightly knit community, which I appreciate.
