Management typically respond quickly to issues and concerns, but things are broken or not working properly often. The gate for parking is usually not working, and it takes a few times for the outside locks to read the key card to allow building access. The handle to the refrigerator has broken, from simply opening the fridge, four times. No matter how many times they've been repaired, the kitchen sink leaks, and the sprayer doesn't work.

Pros: Good location, nice staff, water is included in rent (though there are only two). Cons: No amenities, gate to parking lot is usually broken, secure door is broken/locks do not work on certain entrances, no security personnel YET rent is continuing to increase. There have been no upgrades, and though Freeman Webb got a grant under MDHA to build the complex and cater to low-income families, they raised rent 50%. Amount of rent increase is unpredictable.

Raising rent by over $1000 a month at the end of my third year renting here is unacceptable. I've been a great and reliable member of the community and the thanks I'm given is gentrification. Thanks to this I will now be renting a storage unit for my belongings and living out of my car in parking lots. Thanks for making me homeless, uptown flats.

I have lived here since the apartments opened in 2013. I loved living here initially but as of recent years maintenance has gone down, cleanliness, trash overflowing in parking area on a weekly basis etc. When a maintenance request is put in it should not take a 3-4 days to complete it. As of recent these issues are somewhat getting better but I assume that is only because there are more vacancies for the apartments than normal. I also disagree with the rates these apartments are going for.

The security is great with needing a keycard to get in the building. I wish we had a workout facility.
