We were searching for an apartment during the time, and My sister had recommended these apartments to us so we came to the office to Talk to Ms. Bertha. We signed the lease and paid everything electronically plus got our keys. Everything was good from the beginning until one day I came to the office to check my mail Ms. Bertha confronted me asking whos staying in my house we got numerous complaints we making too much noise . I said to her we work 5 days out of the week we not even home most of the time and for two no one is staying with us. We dont bother nobody period. I have family and friends that come visit me sometimes She had the nerve to tell me my family cant come visit my friends cant come visit but half of these people over here have big families that be staying over more than a week making too much noise loud music and gonna sit up here and blame us. She had the nerve to tell me people gotta work in the mornings and so do we. so the whole time this lady been watching every move we make even got the neighbors watching us I didnt even feel comfortable in my apartment period why because we not are not allowed to talk in our apartment we are not allowed to smoke or move around in our apartment. She put a paper up on every door saying if we smoke they calling the cops they will start evicting people i feel like this if you are paying full rent you should be able to do whatever you want in your place. I know one thing for sure they are too strict over here they make you feel like your in jail cant do nothing around here. My thing is how is we stomping if the floors squeaking that is not our fault fix it. DO NOT RENT HERE PERIOD THEY MAY SEEM NICE FROM THE BEGINNING BUT WILL BE QUICK TO FIND ANY REASON TO GET RID OF YOU THEY WILL START MAKING UP STUFF THAT IS NOT EVEN ON THE LEASE . I have never heard of an apartment complex that say we are not allowed to smoke in our apartment it is not even on the lease because if that was the case I would

We want to apologize for making you feel that you could not have guests or visitors because that is not the case and not our intention. Due to the number of noise complaints that we received we did need to mention this directly to you because we must address all issues that are brought to our attention. We also addressed your complaint about your neighbor when it was reported to us. Our goal is to make sure all residents are comfortable in their own home and sometimes finding a balance is hard in an apartment community. Regarding the letter about smoking, it was sent out to all apartments in the community as a reminder only. We value all of our residents, their privacy and their comfort, I can assure you we are not trying to find reasons to "get rid of people", as a business, our goal is quite the opposite
