WHERE TO BEGIN?!? First, they Air BnBs, just a simple search and youll find them- the building is full of them. The staff will lie about it, and its a clear violation of the lease. Secondly, they will take your money, but good luck getting a refund. I looked back in August 17 and they did a look and lease for $50. I was told to pay the full amount ($300) and they would refund me to $250. On September 17 (a month later) I still hadnt revived the refund. I emailed the property manager, and his response signaled that he had forgot and didnt realize I was due a refund. He told me he would send me a check. Flash forward for October 10, I emailed again because I still hadnt revived a check. I was told that they had a new manager and they were not informed of me needing a check. The email also said that they would send me one and it should arrive in the next few weeks. FEW WEEKS?!? Its been TWO WHOLE MONTHS and I still have to wait. Obviously cash flow is a problem for this property. Who knows what else is a problem. I wouldnt recommend and Im so glad I found another property.
My wife and I stayed in Edge midtown on a 3 months lease while looking for permanent residence. We paid 1000$ deposit up front and paid all or bills on time. We moved out in January this year and still haven't received our deposit back. Numerous emails and phone calls are being ignored from their side. Obviously they are struggling with cash flow since they can't pay us back. They have rules banning tenants Airbnb'ing out their apartments, though the management knows it takes place, they chose to ignore it. Stay away if you don't want to lose your deposit.
Edge Midtown is Nashville's definitive standard in opulent and sophisticated apartment living, featuring the city's most sought after shopping, dining and entertainment destinations at your doorstep.
