    They are always there when I need them. When maintenance off duty they are still around to help. The employees are nice. The apartments are up to date. They are ALWAYS on top of things. They communicate with us in a very convenient (text message) way.

    100% DO NOT RECOMMEND! I waited 60 days to provide this review. I have lived here here 60 days and so far I have a roach infestation, water coming up through my floor on 2 separate occasions, water coming through my bathroom wall, and I had to call emergency maintenance 3 times as my fridge was not working. It took for me to express my frustration for the items to be fixed correctly. I also had to temporarily move out for them to make some renovation repairs just to find out I could move back in the same day! This is all in the span of 2 months! As a person who suffer from depression this has sent me back down a sparrow along with my wife having to get back on her anxiety meds. This apartment has left us feeling uneasy and cant fully settle in. I do not recommend living here.

    I love this community because the leadership team and maintenance personnel really care about the tenants and quality of the apartments inside and outside. The staff has always tried to ensure a safe community by sending messages about pets that have gone astray or lost pets. The staff sends out messages informing residents to monitor safe speeds in vehicles since children may be outside playing or riding bikes. The grounds are kept clean and the staff communicates well with the tenants. The staff has been supportive during COVID-19 and caring about the tenants.

    First let me say, my fiance and I moved to Brighton Valley from Los Angeles, sight unseen. We had multiple conversations with the leasing staff to get videos and pictures of the complex (because we are usually hesitant on what is shown online) - to our surprise and liking, the place was exactly what we were looking for! Since moving in June 2019, we have LOVED living here. All of the staff are great and they are extremely quick to respond to anything that might come up. They are pet friendly (which is so hard to find nowadays) which allowed us to rescue two sweet pups. The complex has two dog parks too and there seems to be a good amount of pet owners who live here. The community is spread out so it makes it very quiet around here, which was a great relief after living in downtown Los Angeles. We live in a townhouse, an end unit, and we never hear our neighbors, who have a baby. The few complaints I have would be that since the units are a little older, the living room doesn't have a ceiling light/fan, and the kitchen is a little outdated and lacks drawers. I wouldn't say these are deal breakers though because there are ways around those. Overall, we cannot wait to renew our lease once it's close to being up to continue living here. You really do find your home at Brighton Valley.
