They are always there when I need them. When maintenance off duty they are still around to help. The employees are nice. The apartments are up to date. They are ALWAYS on top of things. They communicate with us in a very convenient (text message) way.

This is the absolute worst apartment complex I have ever had to deal with. Renters beware. We lived there for 2 years, paid rent on time, even continued to pay for rent, water, electricity that we were not using after we moved out in March. Lease was not up until June so we were reasonable about it. Vacated, left the place immaculate (pics to prove it) and then received a "Final Account Statement" with a charge for a "dirty oven." Please. Petty and false. This unit was left in better condition than when we moved in and they will not be getting another dime from us!! If your unit is left in pristine condition (we took pictures of EVERYTHING), this complex will go out of their way to find something trivial and will attempt to charge you for it. After submitting a non-renewal of lease letter in March, I spoke with Harmonie who stated she checked our file, we paid a security deposit in the amount of $1,095 and we would get that back at the end of our lease as long as there were no damages to the apartment. Fast forward to the end of the lease and the "Final Account Statement" indicating $0 for a "deposit on hand." When I called her about this, suddenly it became a "non-refundable bond." These people are petty, shady and incompetent so rent here if you must but don't say I didn't warn you!

Beware of this place. I can't wait to leave this place when my lease is up. Let start with the frist thing you see when entering Brighton Valley Apartments the gate. This thing needs to be replaced it's either doesn't work or its about to break. On more than one occasion I have had to wait outside the apartment for them to fix the gate. The last time it was for 45 mins on a Saturday. The overflow was out on murfreesboro pike causing traffic to back up. The appliances in your apartment will break down. Not if but when and when they do the nice and friendly staff you met with will be rude and down right disrespectful. Maintenence will only be able to patch these problems not fix them so it will break over and over. Traffic in the morning is horrible. This place is located in a very bad spot for your commute in the morning. Traffic will block the intersection so you will not be able to get out quickly in the morning. The indoor pool was down from October to December. Metro is always "fixing the water" so it's usually down from 9pm to 6am or longer. Please do yourself a favor and don't throw away your hard earned money here

For the rent that Brighton Valley is charging for the apartments there should be some ceiling fans in all rooms. I never went on my patio because its so small. When I first moved in the rent was reasonable but for the price that I was going to be charged had I renewed my lease I found a 2 bedroom condo..
