The building is very nice, quiet, and the location is excellent. The maintenance staff at Barbizon are wonderful and prompt and the building is incredibly clean. There is also always parking available in the lot, which is a real plus in Midtown. Literally my only qualms with Barbizon are the price of the rent (it's comparable to where I used to live in West Los Angeles!) and the lack of recycling service. Taking recyclables to the dump is a huge pain, and I usually end up throwing them away.
It's overpriced and noisy. Don't complain about it, you get what you pay for. The location is insanely perfect, you can walk almost anywhere. I always felt safe in the building, and had no problems with the staff. I greatly enjoyed by 2 years here.
Great location easy access to Vanderbilt but the construction outside is annoying. The gym is tiny and the 25 lbs dumb bells are missing!
The Barbizon apartments are in a really good location, close to many restaurants and more importantly work/school. I like the fact that there is a gym just downstairs, small, but it works. The housekeeping is great, building is always clean and staff is really nice. The lounge room is really nice too. Some neighbors can be really loud, but you would find that at any place.
I like the place, is quiet, and really close to Vanderbilt. However, the button that opens the door automaticaly has been broken for months, and no one repairs it. I use a wheelchair to move and every time I got to the building is a pain to open the door without that button.

A resident who lives at the property and has completed a resident satisfaction survey.
