I am a current tenant here please do not move here!!! For the price the only thing that this apartment has going for itself is location. The apartment rooms itself are sub par and no matter how much i clean i always find coakroaches which could be because they travel throught the vents. The apartment building is trashy and the management company is not good they will tell you they will get back to you and end up not doing it or do something wrong and blame another person. What ever you do do not live here

To whom this may concerned - I've lived in 500 5th apartments for almost two months now and while there have been some ups - everything else has been such a disappointment. From the very beginning - my toilet didn't work and it took a week for them to get me a 'brand new toilet'. Yeah, that toilet wasn't new and it had what appeared to be puke, pubes, and someone else's urine all over it. I had to clean it up myself and when I went to report that - the office manager claimed I was supposed to get a new one out of the box. Well someone else took it apparently because I didn't get it. Then - there's been the shower situation. First - there is, what appears to be an Airbnb shampoo, conditioner, and body wash rack that has been drilled into my shower. The maintenance guy claims he can't take it out of the wall because it would ruin the tile - okay not the end of the world but I can't even fill it up with my things because the top of it is stuck. Next, there was a leak in the left knob - so that also flooded my bathroom and that part got fixed after a week or so. What really is making me mad is that I have this constant drip and it won't turn off all the way. I've asked for that to be fixed since late July and nothing. There was also the incident of someone trying to get into my apartment at 10 AM on a Monday... yes, someone who was wasted came to my door and started knocking and yelling at me to let them in. Through the peephole, I could see him flicking me off and repeatedly asking to be let in. I believe he was an Airbnb resident that they allow to stay here and when I called the front office, security - NO one came. I should've called the police but I trusted that my apartment would have my back. This one is on me. Just don't live here

it gave a slum motel feeling. the pool looks nothing like the pictures.

I signed a lease for a year and did not make it the full year because this place is so bad. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the rooftop pool and convenient location. I've seen motels better than this place. If you want to live in a broken down frat house, this is your place! Hallways are gross, not uncommon to find vomit in the lobby, hallways, or outside on the steps. They recently redid the elevators and they have already been destroyed. Parking is terrible. AirBnB has taken over and Management is well aware and tries to calm you down by blaming it on the earlier management company and promises that "they are working to resolve the AirBnB issue". My hallway had 2 new AirBnB apartments pop up over the last month under this management even though "their new lease prohibits AirBnB". The washer/dryer in your apartment is a joke. It is an "all in one" washer/dryer and takes 4 hours to wash/dry something. Good luck using the downstairs washers and dryers - the multiple maid services hired by the apartment complex and AirBnB renters take those over and will leave clothes overnight/move your clothes when they aren't dry. Jennifer might be the worst and has no clue how to run/lease a property. She's too busy on Facebook - James at least tries. Just save yourself from a nightmare and don't sign a lease here.

There is new owner and management at this apartment complex. I have lived here for 7 years, thru very good times and very bad times (with previous owner / management). I am looking forward to keeping you posted on how the new owner / management team is. Update will be coming as soon as the new management has settled in. Hoping they are better then the last management company! They were a NIGHTMARE!

Apartment building is way over priced compared to similar apartments in the area. The building has been renovated but doesn't have central air and heating. Management isn't able to lease out units so they've listed many of their units on various hotel websites and airbnb which has turned the building into a hotel. Management also doesn't enforce parking for the people that actually live there. Do yourself a favor and lease from another apartment building.
