i thought this place was going to at least be decent by the way it looked. the dog bark was a nice treat to have to run my dog, but up until so many people had their dogs off leash. everyday i saw someone doing it and they didn't even have well trained animals. i cant tell you have many times i almost hit dogs running into the road. the office did almost nothing about it. they put a flyer out, but nothing to actually stop it. i constantly had to worry to take my dog out during the day. don't live here. they may accept pets, but they don't care about them.
do not stay here, my apartment flooded my first month here. the seal around the door was so bad and when it rained really hard, the water would come from around the door. they hard to bring a bunch of fans in to my place for it to dry out and then tried to charge me when i moved out. DO NOT RENT HERE.
I stayed here for only 6 months and during that time the maintenance team could barely change a light bulb. the office staff was nice until i have a few issues. they acted like they could not be bothered by the time i moved out.
This was probably one of the worst experiences of renting I've had, and that includes student living.
I had air conditioning issues for over 3 years living there. They had done maintenance on my unit at least 12 times over the time I was there. Even on the day that I moved in it was extremely hot in the unit and was told by the maintenance man David that since we were opening the door too much is why it was over 80 degrees in there. Being a new renter I left it at that. As it cooled down it wasn't so much of an issue until the next summer. My electric bill averaged $150 in the unit except for in the summertime which would hit $200 to almost $300.
My last year there we had them check our AC at least four or five times. We went so far as getting window tint, blackout curtains, and three standing AC units one for each bedroom. Even with all three running and all of the cooling capabilities it was still 80 to 85 degrees at the end of the day. They eventually stopped working on the unit when we decided to end our lease and left us for 2 months to do with it.
After going up the attic I found that the insulation was next to nothing, around 3 to 6 in in the best of areas. Blown insulation inside of addicts for the state of Tennessee needs to be 16 to 18 in. There was exposed wiring, miscellaneous trash, animal feces, and the exhaust systems for the bathroom led to nowhere and we're fully exposed in the Attic. After purchasing a thermal imaging camera that was able to find extreme hot spots in the roof and the walls where large amounts of heat were coming in. The maintenance team said that that shouldn't matter because the drywall should keep it out. Even though thermal transfer is a real thing.
I hope anyone who is reading this does not ever choose to live here. They may be one of the cheapest places in Murfreesboro to rent and if you do have to rent from here make sure you do not get apartment 198.
love the ranch format, the private patio and the overall look of the property outside and inside both
