Just dont do it . In all seriousness i know the cost of living out here is pricey but just bite the bullet with paying more.
My daughter moved to this apartment and it was literally the worst experience imaginable. The apartment was filthy, the maintenance department never fixed anything, bills were too high as the air conditioning and dryer did not work correctly. Upon moving out she forgot to get her mail and they refused to let her get it. I literally spent 44 minutes cleaning the light fixture in the kitchen. The stairwells and hallways are always filthy, not to mention the amenities closed. If you tour ask to see an actual apartment not the demo as they are nothing like it. If gets 0 stars.
Phone calls on April 30th confirming rental rate of $303 and move in on Saturday May 3 by two people to sublet a unit
May 1, after the lease was signed I was told they did not allow Saturday move ins and I had to wait till Tuesday
May 1, phone call because the correct paperwork was not sent to my mother as a guarantor so she had to be removed
May 2, my fathers credit was denied and my grandmothers was added.
my credit was ran. I met with roommates and agreed to meet at 11 on Tuesday
May 3, I ask the roommates to come measure the place and they said they werent there
May 4. At 1 a.m. I get a message saying Jake is moving back in
10:18 am I missed a call
11:54 am, first phone call in which the front desk person will not assist at all, and was told I signed a lease as a sublet.
They said I had been approved though because they ran my grandmas credit even after being told Jake was moving back in
Directly after I sent the lease to an attorney to look over
1:31 pm, I ask to speak directly to a manager and was told there was not one and was told the manager would call me back
3:01 a manager never calls and I speak to the front desk and Rachel laughs through the phone when I asked again to speak to a manager

During this phone call I stated what was signed in the lease
I signed a lease for a 4x2 for $303, I verbally confirmed this with two people prior to signing
They said there was no other 4x2 available
I asked about a 4x4 for a discounted price and she said they could sublet one for $465 and said I could move in that day
I declined and said I was not paying extra when I signed the lease on the premise rent was 303
I then added that I would pay $365 or even the $405 for the 4x4.
And she still said no then brought up there was a 4x2 for $405. I declined as I agreed to pay $303 for a 4x2 and the lease is for a unit.
Never Ever live a 1540 Place Apartments!
They are total crooks and will mess you over in a heart beat! I don't want anyone else to have to deal with so much awful stuff! I wish there was an unbearable button instead of a one star!
Mother of a current resident and this is beyond crazy. Was supposed to be able to move in at 2pm today and still waiting. The apartment is NOT ready and we are 3 and a half hours from home. This is totally inexcusable. The apartment manager set the move in time and now that manager has been fired but still unacceptable. We were just there last month and got to see a model and were impressed but the actual apartment is not ready and the leases have been signed and the move in date was assigned last month. Not happy at all.
