From the minute we walked in, it was like we were interrupting their day. We had an appointment scheduled the following day, but sent an email to come 1-day early. The agent made 2-comments about not cancelling the appointment twice, stating "it would have been nice to know you weren't coming tomorrow, we are very busy". We were working on a short timeline to find a place to live and we were very turned off by the energy and personality of the staff. She didn't even attempt to show us a model or present an option, other than the ADA accessible unit that we don't want or qualify for. Even if they had space we would not rent from them.
Let me say this first I originally loved living here. Sharon was really great to me on move in and always so welcoming. I had no issues at all during the whole time I lived here. That being said move out is a whole other story... brace yourselves.
I scheduled my walk-through one week before my lease was up and was told I needed to surrender keys at the walk-through even though I am paid to the end of the month and still have to keep utilities on in my name till the end. why would I leave my utilities on for maintenance to use and why do I have to turn in keys earlier than paid till? No sense made at all.
My notice said that I had to be out by June 30 and when calling the front office they told me I was rent responsible till the end of July. Apparently there was a typo on my original notice that they were trying to hold me to. Upon research I was told they would guess they would honor their mistake on giving me the wrong date of my lease end on my door. Which I guess means I won't be rent responsible when really they moved me out earlier than I originally had anticipated in the first place.
I am told I am responsible for total carpet replacement because 3 small spots in the living room. The carpet was old on move in and frayed, and edges were blackish (all noted on move in checklist). We could tell another dog lived on this carpet, I kept finding huge mounds of long dog hair in the corners of everywhere in my house that didn't match my dog. Would be curious if previous renter paid for carpet that never got replaced as my dog could smell the other dog on the carpet and my carpet steamer pulled out MUD the first day I lived there. Puzzling but never complained.
I am starting to be so stressed out it's wearing on my MS. I have been literally shaking as my nerves are no good with MS, all by this encounter with the front office (Kim) and the way they have treated me so far this week. What could have been smooth and easy is now a nightmare.
Did not see any of the apartments since a three bedroom was not available but the staff was very friendly.
Very good but the rent is way too high
Anytime you rent apartment, you know you hear some of your neighbor. I neighbor above me sounds like they are coming through the floor. Also don't get one with the master next to the stairway. You can hear people just as if they was in your room. I will not reknew my lease.
