I really thought going into this complex this was really a good deal and the display unit showed to me was really nice! The one I moved into was poorly renovated and everything was, "rigged." Very crappy leg work!
The location, the price, and the square footage was thought to be ideal. Well, I was WRONG! The extra money in rent would be well worth it since I have to pay 3x what I should in the winter months to MLGW. I spoke with MLGW and they let me know this is an ongoing battle with PoplarPlace Townhomes and their residents during the winter months. These complaints are provoked due to their equipment not being up to date. The leasing office is rude and denies the issues with the mediocre housing. The reaction from them is unacceptable, unprofessional, and unwanted. In my opinion, if something seems too good to be true, don't rent with PoplarPlace Townhomes!!

My husband, daughter and I moved in last April. The townhomes are nice and office staff are super friendly, funny and professional. If we had a maintenance issue, it was fixed rather quickly. The only reason we moved is because we moved to another State. Had we remained in Memphis, we would have stayed at Poplar Place.
