River Hill Townhomes

They really try to sell it to you, like its going to be one of the greatest places youve ever lived. And youll believe it at first Since we moved in here in November there have been at least 3-4 different managers and maintenance. There is no consistency. The quality of the updates to the unit are very poor and they mostly just painted over everything in hopes that it would look nicer. When we first moved in, we had to go 2 days without running water because the septic was messed up and it took the company 2-3 days to fix it. There was a huge mess after, and they said someone would be by to clean and sanitize the apartment but no one ever did. We had to sanitize the mess ourselves. This summer we had to go two weeks without air and our apartment was consistently over 90 degrees. We had to go somewhere else for a few days before they even offered a window unit. No one was answering the phones or maintenance requests during that time either. This situation also caused our energy bill to sky rocket because of the fans we were having to run constantly. There are also so many roaches in this place, its ridiculous. Anytime you ask for pest control they just tell you it happens everywhere in East Tennessee, its normal. On top of everything else, they are offering no upgrades to the place (same kitchens, vanities, and tubs as when my friends parents lived here in the 80s) and yet trying to raise the rent to over $1,000 if we renew. We wont be renewing though

I lived at River Hill for 5 1/2 years. It was a wonderful place to call home! Its quiet and peaceful! Surrounded by nature too! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a 2 bedroom near Knoxville.

Nice area and just Awesome!!!!

I tried to call the number listed to get more information about the townhouses but no one would answer. The phone would for a few minutes then an automatic message would come then it would ring a few more times then hang up. This happened more than once and on different days so if I get this response as a potential renter then I can imagine the response or lack thereof as a current renter.

Hey there! I am a current resident here and I have a few major problems. First off, cockroaches, and the management does nothing to actually get rid of the problem. I have a clean apartments and there is no reason I should have these bugs but i do. The management has single apartments spray that are having the "problems". which is a bandage because they just flee to the spray apartments and the cycle continues. So eventually they just come back. Oh and don't bother asking them about this issue, because I did when I first moved in and they lied to my face. Second, the management will not call you back- ever- no matter how many messages you leave or call back requests. I would not recommend living here and I am not extending my lease. I hope I save some people from the same frustration with this review.
