I have really mixed feelings about living here. The layout of the apartment is wonderful...couldn't be better. The first year was okay because in spite of there being absolutely NO noise insulation between floors, I had wonderful quiet neighbors above me. Then, right at the end of my lease (too late to get out of signing for another term), a herd of elephants moved in above me. The woman operates a child care business out of her apartment with running, jumping, bouncing balls, etc. which is unbearable. Management's response is: "Well, that's apartment living." This is not the first apartment I have ever lived in and it is NOT apartment living. It is poor construction and poor management. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else ... but try to find out what the noise insulation is before moving in. Learn from my mistakes.
This establishment does not deserve the one star rating. If the scale included negative ratings, it would be more accurate. Let me start by saying that we loved our first year there. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Then, things changed. New management and staff came in, and we had multiple problems. We felt like we were good residents; we didnt complain, paid our rent on time, and followed the rules. All our problems began we we tried to move out. We agreed to pay and sign a break lease because we purchased a house back in our home town. We thought the process would be easy, but they kept calling us with other problems we had not settled. One problem was they seemed to lose our original paperwork with both my and my husbands name on the lease. They called my husband and said they were unaware he was living in our apartment. They also called and said we had not been paying monthly for our pet, but in our lease, we did not have to pay monthly. That change was made after we moved in and did not apply to us. When it finally came time for our break lease, we stopped by twice to pay and sign before we were actually able to do it. The first time, the manager told us to make an appointment after telling us that no notice was required. When we showed up to said appointment, no one knew anything about it and did not have the paperwork. We had to come back a third time to finally sign. After moving out, I called to check on when we could expect our deposit back. I was told to expect it 30 days after moving out. However, instead of receiving a check in the mail, we received a bill for pet damages. My husband and I were surprised because we filled every nail hole like we were instructed, filled in the one stratch our dog made, and even deep cleaned the carpet ourselves. Long story short, I would not recommend this place to anyone now. The management is not willing to help you and can be very rude, and all they care about is money, not the people.
We love our new apartment! Dalilia was awesome and worked hard to get us in here on the day we needed. Maintenance has fixed tiny little things promptly and courteously. Our neighbors are extremely friendly and its very quiet around here. We even saw a deer in our backyard.
