What a horrible experience. Both of the ladies were on their phones when I came in. I was standing there for literally a minute until the little blonde girl looked up at me.
The other lady, which was much older, walked off towards the back while talking on her phone.
I came in needing an apartment, but with that first impression I decided to go elsewhere.
Please save yourself and do not move here. The only good thing is the fact that it is in Lakeland and the school district is one of the best around. Other than that, the complex is trash. I am giving the complex this review after living here for two years with my wife. When we first moved to the complex we had no problems. The original office staff was friendly, knew you by name, and truly cared about you. Now, fast forward two years, this apartment complex is not worthy of a rat to live in. 1) for a year we have complained about our upstairs neighbors but are only met with the quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. We were also told that they cannot do anything unless we contact the curtesy officer. We have contacted the curtesy officer 4 times and they have never been over to even speak with the neighbors. 2) Parking is so bad that we have to pay extra money per month for covered parking. Our parking spaces have been given away 3 times because no one ever marked them as reserved but had us paying for them. Each time they made it our responsibility to prove we have those spots reserved but yet they never made the mistake of not charging me for them monthly. 3) The office staff is rude, from the low level to the upper management. My wife and I went into the office to redo our lease (90 days before it expires) but decided that the price increase was not worth it. We verbally told the lady we would be moving at the end of our lease and she told us that that is our right. My wife went into the office to get our prorated rent for our last month and was told that they had not received our 60 day notice. Mind it, she was told this 51 days from the date our lease was set to expire. Once we were notified we turned in a notice to leave at the end of our lease. The manger, Melissa, then told me its my fault for not reading the lease and they would never tell anyone that they had 60 days because its up to them to know.
This is a good place to live
