This community is hands down the cleanest and most elegant looking of all that I've seen. They also have a privacy gated entrance which i'm super hype about! Not many of those around anymore. I leased the Dogwood 2 bed/2 bath home - modern split floor plan. Not the average 70s style ranch. It's gorgeous. I move in mid November & I can't wait! I highly recommend. The ladies in the office were amazing and made the whole process seem effortless, not to mention I also got $1200 in free rent to use how I choose.
I lived at the Willows for 1 year and the problems that occurred were constant. When I moved in, my bathtub was disturbingly disgusting as it needed to be refinished badly to the point myself and my guests would use shower shoes to bathe. This was troublesome for me as typically management will do a walk through of the apartment to make sure everything is up to par. Nonetheless, I submitted a maintenance request. Maintenance took a look and decided it needed to be outsourced to a refinishing business. They said they left a note with the leasing office and they should be contacting me for an appointment. Weeks passed and still nothing had been done. My mom came to town for a visit and again brought it to the attention of management to which they said it would be taken care of. More weeks passed and still nothing happened. I called and got the same response. More weeks passed and I had had enough. I threatened to sue property management and withhold paying rent unless the issue was handled withing two weeks. That finally got the attention of management and withing 3 days I had a freshly resurfaced tub.....6 months after the initial maintenance request. On top of this, the property has an issue with roaches. They are also negligent in giving you a heads up when your 60 day renewal/intent to vacate deadline is approaching which I find to be a bit unprofessional. I also find the rent to be overpriced for what you get. The kitchen and fireplace are the only highlights of the apartment, aside from that it's pretty shoddy work. The carpet needs to be replaced, the floors on the upper levels have dips and seem ready to give in some spots. The bathroom is nothing special and the shower as a whole needs updating. The paint job is poorly done and looks as though it was rushed. And don't even get me started on the ancient popcorn ceilings (ew!). I left (ran) after only a year because of the lack of response to issues from management and because I felt as though I was overpaying
I have lived at The Willows almost 4 years now, and plan to renew again when my lease is up. The staff is always very nice and helpful, and the few maintenance requests I have turned in get done quickly and efficiently.
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. It's like a peaceful oasis away from it all, but you're just off Kingston Pike and within a mile of anything you need. Shopping, food, entertainment, etc.
Also very pet friendly! I have 2 dogs and have had to use the free pet sitting on numerous occasions. It has saved my pups.
Open kitchen and updated floor plans are beautiful. Highly recommend!

Was enamored by the landscaping pool, amenities and model apartment. Upon moving in I realized these apartments are old and showing their age- screens fall off, patched popcorn ceiling, peeling painted tub, ripped carpet, smoke coming in from the apartments via HVAC. Living on the 1st floor it sounded like an Elephant every time our neighbor above would walk across the floor. Pool rules not enforced- motley crew with vulgar music blaring and alcohol parties dominating the pool- most of them guests who did not even live there. Huge roaches are a problem as well. The list goes on.....not worth the price at all... happy to get out of there.
I will have lived at the Willows for three months by the time that my lease ends, and in that time, I have experienced a shocking number of problems. First, I will begin by what I like about this apartment complex. I really like the apartment itself. I have a one bedroom, and it is spacious. I also really enjoy the landscaping. Finally, there is a nice workout room and laundry facility. Now, I will address the multitude of problems that I have experienced. First, the reason that I chose this apartment over the many apartments in Knoxville is that they informed me that they offer a pet sitting service; however, on many occasions, I have been lied to and told he was walked, only to find out at the end of the day that he wasn't. Further, the maintenance problems are too many to name. My towel rack and blinds have been broken the entire time I have lived there; I had to request multiple times to get more serious issues fixed, like my mailbox hanging open and the latch on my front door being broken. The pool was also shut down for maintenance for weeks; even though, I was told when I moved in that it would be open within two days. They nickle and dime you. You will pay a monthly billing fee, pest control fee, sewer fee, and trash fee. I like to think of myself as a reasonable person. I rarely complain, and I hate to give bad reviews, but this has been such a negative experience for me that I wanted others to know about it. I lived at Londontown Apartments, which is just a few minutes from this complex, for three years before this, and I never had even one complaint while living there. I cannot recommend Londontown enough. Their staff is very competent, and maintenance will be there to fix whatever you need within minutes. It is a lovely place to live. They do not allow pets, but if you do not have a pet, I direct you to Londontown instead.
