I have lived here for years and it just continues to get so bad I do not think I will renew my lease. For months I have called the office and have only been able to get through to a human being one time. I have submitted multiple maintenance requests for various issues only for them to be ignored. my apartment smells like sewage because there has been stale, moldering standing water in my dishwasher for a week that has gone unfixed. The complex had also owed me money for almost six months now for charging me for electricity which I already paid through KUB. My emails and messages submitted through the portal go ignored. The grounds and buildings are filthier by the day with debris such as dirty diapers and wrappers littering even the laundry rooms. When I received a renewal offer did not even get some sort of offer special or even reduced rate for signing a longer lease

a week agoNEW I've lived here for many years and before this current management company took over it was a great place to live. Since this new company is managing things it's been nothing but problems. They never answer the phone, 9 times out of 10 the office door is locked during normal business hours. The emergency maintenance line is a joke, nobody ever responds. There was a bathroom drain pipe burst above my bathroom, pouring water into my apartment. I bribed the maintenance guy with food for him to stay and stop the water as well as get it dried out. I've had a completely open ceiling for over 2 weeks now and 3 days ago the pipe burst again. This one time they actually answered the phone and said someone would be right over. That was at 3:34pm Monday, it was 10:40am Tuesday morning before anyone showed up. Two guys took pictures and said they would be back. Today is Wednesday at 6pm and nobody ever came back. I went to the office and they told me they LOST my apartment key and couldn't get in. Nobody ever called to tell me this do I can ensure to be there to let them in. They were then surprised when I asked to have the water cleaned up and dried out! Mind you this is dirty sewer water and they couldn't care less. Stay away from this place at all costs!!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! NO RESPONSE BY EMAIL, PHONE, CAPSTONE MULTI-FAMILY GROUP, THE CORPORATE OFFICE, SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES--NADA!!! I have been calling this place all week with no answer. Like another reviewer, I filled out an application online, PAID, and have not heard a thing. Please contact people with your personal cell phones if your office phones are down due to issues with Comcast. It's 2021... "phones are down" is a lousy excuse. This is EXTREMELY unprofessional and SEEMINGLY FRAUDULENT! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would!

I have lived at this complex for years with no problems until the change in management and property ownership recently. In February I was sent a lease renewal notice with an expiration of March 6th. Before the March 6th deadline I repeatedly requested for a 15 month renewal offer and every request was ignored for weeks. For the past week I have finally gotten a response from the new property manager, but she insisted that because the complex was bought out before she got around to sending my renewal offer that I will now have to pay a higher rent in line with the new companys standards. This is absolutely unacceptable. I was fully within the terms of lease negotiation and the complete failure of management to address this issue before the lease offer expiration or takeover is not my fault. It should have been handled within the proper time frame instead of procrastinating and then doing a bait and switch on the lease rates with me. Absolutely terrible management support and blame-shifting

Lived here for over 3 years. Mostly a management-based problem, but they could barely maintain their apartments to livability. The building itself was in utter disrepair and everything is filthy. Absolutely horrendous conditions (I could cite multiple instances like having loud birds nesting in our walls due to an exterror hole they didn't patch up for months, turning our water off several times for days at a time sometimes with no warning, taking forever to replace AC-- I think it was something like 2 months and it took them a week or so to get us even a portable temporary unit in 90 degree heat. The apartments are also very old and were extremely sloppily renovated (flimsy "baseboards" not actually glued down, sloppy paint job with no top coat such that you can't wipe anything off the walls without taking off paint... I could go on). My neighbors all say the same. When we see each other while trying to do laundry in the ancient literally crumbling communal laundry room for exorbitant prices, we almost universally end up talking about the latest physical calamity befalling us here. It's bad, y'all- if we hadn't had a crazy period of life with two babies coming in quick succession during a doctoral program plus low funds, we would have moved out long ago, but the cheap price and extra stress of having to move kept us here. Do not move here until they get their act together-- actually no one should move into our apartment building at all-- it should probably be torn down. OK RANT OVER.
