We lived at these apartments when they were the Huntington Place Apartments. The rent was $794 for a three bedroom-one bathroom. They were sold and became the Emerson Apartments this past winter. We figured the rent would go up, but were kind of flabbergasted when we were told our rent would be $1294 once our current lease was up. Wed planned on moving anyway, so it only confirmed our decision. The area is great and Misty, the office manager, has a long history with the apartment complex and she was great. The maintenance guys were helpful as well and they handled repair requests promptlyeven on the weekends. The complex is in a convenient location and is also in a greenway and is close to everything a person could need. Its also one of the few walkable neighborhoods in town so thats also a plus. The negatives: 1. Roaches-there were pest issues before the renovations and there will likely still be issues despite cleaning things up. The building is still old and you cant control how tidy your beighbors areif they have roaches, youll eventually get them 2. The rent is expensive for a one bath apartment 3. Tiny closets and limited storage There are definitely better apartments with more space in town, so shop wisely. Theyve renovated these apartments and put new appliances in, but the size didnt increase and you still only have one bath for $1294 a month.
Located in the heart of the thriving Bearden area of Knoxville, right outside Sequoyah Hills, Emerson's location could not be any more convenient. Our community is within walking distance to several shops, restaurants, and businesses, and our proximity to downtown means our residents are never very far from the region's best entertainment. If that wasn't enough, we are only about 10 minutes away from the University of Tennessee campus.
Welcome to life at Emerson.
