We have been living in Aventine Northshore since early July. We are so in love with the apartments and area. They have done such a fantastic job with the community - pool, fire pit, grill area, fitness center, media room, pool table, shuffle board, computer center, and more! The staff is so friendly and enjoyable to work with. They do a great job bringing the community together with the events they plan. Such a great community - I highly reccomend! :)
Aventine was a great experience for me as a business professional on a long term assignment. Peggy, Julie and Raquel were always eager to make sure that my stay was top notch. The location to stores, restaurants and roadways is very convenient. The decor with granite countertops and stainless appliances was up to date. If I am going to stay in Knoxville for any length of time in the future you can bet I will check out Aventine first.
We have been extremely pleased with everything at Aventine. The complex is beautifully designed and the staff is wonderful, especially Peggy. The complex is super easy to get around on foot. The communal areas are awesome.
I looked at almost every apartment complex in Knoxville trying to decide and found this one to be far better than any competition!
Another Knoxville Luxury complex that cant get the basics right. I waited several months after moving in to write this in case some of the issues ironed out. Heres what shakes out.
PROS: The staff is friendly and helpful and generally go above and beyond to assist. The clubhouse is fantastic and has what are truly luxury amenities. The location of the complex is unmatched in Knoxville for convenience and ease of travel. Ive had a couple of maintenance requests and theyve been handled promptly and effectively. The finishes in the apartments are great.
Community planning. There are several issues that are just bewildering including an inability to get to the lower floors (and access to the clubhouse) of the buildings in the back (400-800). There are no stairs from the upper tier of the complex to the lower, and no stairs from the bottom to first levels of these buildings.
Shoddy construction. These buildings are being slapped together in an incredible rush and there are things I shouldnt have at $1500 a month including open drywall seams, screws popping out of my ceiling, grout left on the tile backsplash and cabinets, and spaces between the wall and my shower installation.
Parking. Why its so difficult to build apartments with the requisite number of spaces in this town, Ill never know. Ive had several nights where I was unable to park within two buildings of my own. When I asked for a solution (assigned spaces, etc), I was told I should expect to walk as this is an urban community. That would be a ridiculous response if I hadnt asked about parking prior to leasing, but I did. Twice. And was assured parking near my building would be absolute.
Safety. During the recent snowstorm, the parking lots and sidewalks were an icy nightmare. They stayed this way until the natural melt and were not shoveled or attended to.
Overall there needs to be a focus on basic expectations at this price rather than coffee machines and dog washes.
I absolutely love living here!! When we began our aparmtent search in Knoxville, we looked at plenty of communites and kept coming back to Aventine.
The amenities are second to none and the staff is unbelivably gracious and hospitable.
You can't beat the new construction, or the location!
