safe, friendly, quiet. Management has been timely in responding to maintenance issues.
The grounds are quite and clean and the apartments solid, allowing very little residual noise from the neighbors.
We love living at Jackson Walk! We just moved in and the staff was sooooo helpful. Moving from out of town is never easy, but they were so efficient in helping us get everything set up with ease...I'm so glad we have found our home!
We moved from out of state to Jackson and we found Jackson Walk Apartments online. It looked absolutely gorgeous and the amenities were impressive so we decided even from a long distance that it might be a good fit. We had talked to the office staff about waiting until we could see the surrounding area before we sign the lease because we had never been to Jackson prior to moving and she said that that would be fine up until a couple days before we were about to move. They told us that if we didn't sign the lease over email that we would lose the apartment and that was never part of the verbal conversations we had had up until that point. Because of the fact that if we didn't sign the lease we would have had nowhere to live we signed the lease and when we got to Jackson we were greatly disappointed. Even though the Jackson walk facility is beautiful the immediate surrounding area did not make us feel safe. We were less than a block away from the apartment complex and we were approached by a man asking for money which made us feel uncomfortable. This is the reason why we wanted to check out the area before we signed the lease but because the promises of the office staff were broken and we were pressured to sign it over email there is not much we could do. We tried to talk to them about the fact that there was nothing wrong with the facility we just felt uncomfortable as I am a stay-at-home mom with two infants and want to be able to take walks and go around the area without having to worry and we felt that I couldn't do that. The office staff and corporate management of the property were less than understanding and were very rude about the fact that even though we had not stepped foot in our apartment that we owed them refreshment fees and the first month's rent along with the fact that we would lose our deposit including our pet deposit even though our pet was never in the apartment.
My biggest complaint is the dishwasher is a horrible appliance. It doesn't clean anything, basically have to handwash everything. Good apartment, probably the best location if you have to be in Jackson. They are fortunate to be located near the gym, downtown, farmer's market, dog park, etc. The apartments don't really have many ammenitites on their own, but are situated in a location where they get to benefit from others. They really need an outdoor pool.
