I loved living here for 4 years. I was in a quiet 2 bedroom two story blog. Never had any major problems. Minor problems fixed same day. Office management was nice. I believe if Tennant's approach management in a negative manner of course there will be conflict. It's a shame too because promising good Tennant's might not want to move there. As far as my water bill, I never had an issue, I made sure when I was going to leave a few days before I knew exactly what I needed to pay so I'd have no issue. I even received a check refund which I had no clue I'd receive, thought it be a bill, imagine my surprise. I would recommend Watherford Landing to anyone. Btw, someone mentioned Amy wrote a review and she worked there. Yes that's true, but she was also a tenant. And please ignore my spelling, its spell check.
This was by far the worst experience that we have ever had at an apartment. From the moment that we moved in we started having problems with the billing. Even worse, for the first two months or so, we could not even have access to the complex because they wouldn't add a code to the gate. Then all of the smells started appearing. For most of the time that we were there, we had to keep both bathrooms closed for the smell of sewer in one and pot in the other. We would contact the office and it was always "Send an email", yet nothing seemed to ever be accomplished by the emails. Even after we have moved out, we are still dealing with them trying to send us to collections. When I called to ask them about the bill, they would't explain it to me but just said own up to your responsibilities and pay your bill. We have always had everything in on time at this complex and made sure of it. Save yourself the time and stay away from Waterford Landing. Terrible location, terrible crime, and terrible management.
*AVOID AT ALL COSTS*THERE IS A HIDDEN $55 CABLE ACCESS FEE ONTOP OF YOUR RENT*OVERPRICED & FALLING APART* If you are looking for a new place to live in the Hermitage area Waterford Landing is definitely not the place! Ive lived in the area for nearly 20 years and could think of a dozen places that wont cheat you out of your money and treat you like a human being. Do not be fooled by the amenities (the same that the majority of the complexes have in the area for a lot cheaper) or vaulted ceilings. My family lived there for almost 2 years and I really cant think of 1 pleasant expierence I had with the apartment itself. From the 2nd month we moved in the ceiling and walls started forming soft spots from the rain and dripped into the apartment. Even though they came in multiple times to work on it there was an issue until the day we moved out. The plumbing had constant problems, once leaking into the apartment under us causing them to tear our carpet up and never completing the job! They left it literally carpet on top of the wood not stapled down. Bottom line, for $1400 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment you would expect a lot more out of a professional establishment. To conclude here are a few more negatives: you hear music clear as day on fri and sat nights from the bar next door, the washer and dryers at the clubhouse do not work properly, the gate always acted up, the provided window shades are extremely cheap and you are charged $50 on your next rent if they see they are broken from outside, the bottom of the building 12 staircase is a small pond you have to figure a way through, the was constantly dirty and the patio surrounding it was rugged, and did I mention the hidden $55 cable access fee? Please for the sake of your livelihood DO NOT LIVE HERE
