Enter at your own risk!!! I just received a rent increase letter on my door. I just recertified and signed a new lease in april 2019! Showing my new rent amount as 646.00. Now in June I received a letter stating my rent is being increased from 646.00 to 715.00 effective on 7-1-2019. The office staff said it was because i signed an addendum stating that cumberland manor can raise my rent at any time REGARDLESS OF THE TERMINATION DATE. However this addendum was signed when the initial lease was signed in 2018 Now that i have been recertified and a new lease signed in 2019 I believe that the addendum from 2018 os now stale! If anyone reading this has any suggestions please email or leave a comment. I believe they are trying to force me to pay a rent that we did not agree too according to my 2019 lease.
