Monarch Apartment Homes

While it is quite beautiful on the inside and outside with amenities it definitely has its problems. Its considered to be a luxury apartment by what I assume to be their standards, but all I have seen is a $900 section 8 rented apartment. For one I constantly see cigarettes thrown around outside in the grass or the hallways of the apartments and I do not smoke. I moved in Sat. 5/25/19 and I noticed my patio door dead bolt would not lock and the manager Danielle came and looked at it. A part of the lock was removed so that it would lock and she stated someone would come fix it the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Next day 5/26 I noticed my new roommates, many cockroaches running in the kitchen and living room area. I am intrigued to see whats behind the dishwasher because Im positive thats possibly their home. I was told that the apartment was being repainted deep cleaned etc but there are spots on the walls I documented and also the floor is super grimy leaving my bare feet and socks very black. I mopped the floors on 5/26 and even the next day my feet were still very black so apparently the floors will need scrubbing. I attempted to wash my clothes with the washing machine in the apartment and the settings are fairly simple but apparently the washing machine will not fill. The machine constantly clicks to lock the lid and that is all. The dryer is no better, it will only get hot enough to dry clothes but will certainty leave the wrinkles in the clothes. The streams from the sinks are so weak that I can hardly brush my teeth and the kitchen sink and tub takes forever to fill. The first day I moved in the toilet made that filling noise for over an hour after flushing and I had to remove the top and pull the plastic lever to try to make the toilet fill. Also, I have 3 wall outlets that do not work. The bottom outlet works but not the top. I have a small cabinet drawer that seems to be off the tracks it keeps trying to fall out i will ask about that as well.

Love the friendly staff and maintenance! They always take care of my needs quickly and efficiently. Property is well taken care of and the apartments are beautiful!
