Lindsay 414 Apartments

I toured this place and it was absolutely unlivable. The apartment was extremely dirty and dingy. This place looks NOTHING like the photos and is extremely overpriced.

Vintage charm in the middle of downtown sounds idyllic but these apartments are not so much. The unit was dirty when I moved in and the common areas stayed FILTHY. The entryways smell like dog urine and the grounds are riddled with feces. The only designated area to walk your pet is in the dog park on the side of the building which is a cesspool. The park stays wet from the window units dripping down and the gate does not even latch. As expected with an old building, the windows are very thin and the trim around them appears to be dry rotted. When I say thin, I mean you can hear every word of a normal conversation from outside as if it was occurring in the same room as you. In addition to all of the noise from outside, you get to hear everything from inside the building too. I saw roaches on several different occasions and was told that the exterminator treated a few units every Friday. They never had a scheduled time for them to come and I was working night shift so I asked for a call from the office prior to entry. We were unable to coordinate or communicate effectively so my unit went untreated. Maintenance was responsive and quick to remedy issues, until I had a broken window in the middle of December. I was assured that maintenance would be by to look at it first thing the following morning but it was almost a week of getting jerked around before it was actually fixed. It seems that the primary solution to any other imperfections is to add another coat of paint to it. One bedroom wall had a huge soft spot that had clearly been painted over multiple times and was actively leaking a brown liquid when I moved out. One of the interior doors would not even shut all the way because there was so much paint on it and the trim. The door going into my unit did not even have the mechanisms to latch so the only way to keep it closed was to lock the deadbolt. As for amenities, there are none. The only good thing is the location.

I would love to kno more about this place an its availability!!! I am in need of a place to live as soon as possible!!!

For two days I looked at this apartment and it was listed at $900. After I made a call about the apartment the price went up and the person on the other end was trying to rent me something different. If I find the right place its not gonna matter who rinse it to me

Apartment seems beautiful at first glance with old fashioned character, but after living there you realize how disgusting they are. Absolutely filthy upon move in, water damage and mold everywhere, windows full of bugs and dirt to the point that they cant be open, etc. There is every type of pest infestation you can imagine (rats, mice, roaches, geckos). Trash piles up and pours out into parking lot within a day of collection, attracting all sorts of critters. Ive never left a bad review before this but I really want to warn people of the true condition of this complex. Moving out ASAP.

Maintainance is not good. No modern amenities available. Very disappointed.
