Cedar Pointe staff are the best!!! They are swift to take care of your needs, polite and professional. I enjoy living here. The grounds are always clean and neatly manicured, a place I'm proud to call home.
The staff at Cedar Pointe truly do try to make the complex a community and home. We have lots of community events, tons of amenities, the maintenance staff does a great job and responds quickly, and everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. The staff have even organized community benefits (canned food/donations drive) for residents who have been in need due to unexpected illness. I have truly enjoyed living here the last 3 years.
Overall Ceder Pointe Apartments were great nice location, plenty of space, great neighbors. My main concern is the management team at Cedar Pointe Apartments. I put in numerous complaints about AC issues after noticing a spike in the electricity bill and I was constantly told there wasn't a problem. Eventually, the AC unit went out and had to be replaced. Cedar Pointe Apartments provide no assistance with the (3) ridiculous $300-550.00 electricity bills. Great Appartments, Poor Management!
I lived in a two bedroom apartment for nine years and was charged almost $1000 to move 10 feet across the breezeway to a one bedroom when their rent increased almost $200 per month. This included a $350 transfer fee (for moving 10 feet) and damages that most places would consider normal wear and tear.
One reason I moved from the 2 BR to a 1 BR was bc I was told that the 2 BR wouldn't be renovated nor would it receive new flooring like the one directly beside it when the old tenants moved out. I was under the impression that when I moved into a new place, it would be renovated and updated. Ha! They didn't even replace the carpet in the new place, there was paint on the carpet, the counters look like someone had hacked into them with a butcher knife, and everything was still completely outdated. I couldn't understand why this was the case considering they had several weeks to renovate between the time I transferred from the 2 BR to the 1 BR. It looks nothing loke the pics on here. I wish it did! Then it might be worth the cost. I want my unit renovated and have no faith it ever will be. They have no incentive to do so.
At the same time, even though I stayed up cleaning the carpets meticulously in the 2 BR before I moved out, I was charged a "pet sealing" fee for the carpet bc I had dogs (even though I paid a pet deposit for both dogs and also a security deposit). I could've handled it, though, had they not RIPPED UP ALL THE OLD CARPET AND REPLACED IT! I was charged a fee for nothing other than the fact that they could get away with it. I was also charged a $350 "transfer fee" even though the new apartment was less than TEN FEET AWAY.
Of course, as soon as I moved out of my 2 BR they completely renovated it - even though they had told me diff. I'm just tired of the constant rent increases. They'll say it's market rent, but it's market for Davidson county, not Antioch. We don't have the amenities to support the amount of rent charged. Disappointed.
Overall Cedar Pointe Gets an Average to Good ranking. Which is actually pretty good since most Apartment communities in the area would bet a poor to fair. The apartment community itself is one of the better ones in the area. Once you figure out traffic on Bell Rd and how to navigate it, then it's not that bad. That's not to say that it won't be a night mare at times but still....sometimes getting from apt to I-24 can take about 10-15 minutes.
