Contrary to other posters on the reviews, I have had pretty great interactions with property management. They respond and try their best to solve an issue without too much compromise on both parties. The space is wonderful. I have a 1 bedroom and would consider it smaller, but the open floor space really works together. Having a dishwasher, washer and dryer is such an amazing amenity. I do regret not utilizing the shared space in the clubhouse, the pool, or the gym--it makes me feel like my rent isn't worth it, but that is a me problem. :)
Great for social people. They try to host small events and get togethers that not enough people utilize.
As far as I know, they still allow any breed and any weight for dog. Which truthfully is the only reason I am here. It was the only place for quality and for price that I could find for my big puppy.
I would say that they have a TON of strict policies about damage, and property, etc. That is mostly to protect themselves. Even the slightest damage will go against you.
The patio is to die for in my opinion. I would not want a ground level apartment because of the car lights (parking is directly outside of doors).
At my specific complex, parking isn't an issue, but i definitely see issues with other buildings.
I do have some complaints. The size of the 1Bedroom 1Bath is awful. A king is the only thing you might fit in there. I've seen 3Bedroom apartments and they have actual entreway closets and storage (I wish). I also dislike the constant messiness around the buildings due to construction and some of these people that live here are disgusting and litter like crazy. Broken glass, yup. Beer cans, yup. 100+ cigarettes behind the garages, yup. This is on the tenants and not the complex though. It's just unsafe sometimes to walk the dog around these buildings. My biggest complaint is actually the courtyard, but I know it will take time to do. Such a waste of space for such a small dog park.
More than happy with apartment and management.
This place was a headache from start to finish. Not sure how you can feel good about doing special pricing with different residents. Trash everywhere, no parking, broken garage doors ect. This place is brand new and id say the elevator broke at least once a month in the first few months and not to mention the nails I kept finding in the carpet. I could say more but i dont think I need to. The Lux life definitely wasnt the life for me!
The current management, Ciera is not helpful and is never there. Do not expect to get your deposit back, she will charge you for normal wear and tear when you leave. Never have I been charged for normal wear and tear when moving out before. The apartments are not worth the monthly rent.
The best staff in sioux falls apartments. I love my home.
