Absolutely unacceptable noise in which management refuses to address except to harass the person reporting the noise.

It was a great place to live with the former Property Manager, who was force to leave a few years ago. She was stern, but fair. Stoney Creek was the 1# Premium apt in the Black Hills. The new Property Manager came in and started raising long term residents rent EVERY year. She is all about squeezing every dime she can out of every resident, even long time ones. She also started allowing dogs the size of small horses, so there is large piles of dog feces everywhere, except around the office, of course. She also almost doubled the pet rent even for toy/tiny dogs. The Property Manager ignores most communication. The hot tub is down, no hurry to fix or to notify residents. The pool get locked up on Labor Day, without and notification, reason or apology. The leasing agents are nice, but they have a hard time keeping any of them over six months. The maintenance crew are great. You put in a request and they are on it. Schools are nice, incredibly overcrowded and getting worse. We loved the rolling hills, trees and the wildlife. However now, the city encroachment, management cramming many more garages (A lot less parking spaces) in and contestant price hikes now makes Stoney Creek a place to avoid.

Bad location. Poor entrance. Not worth the rent, poor amenities. Too much like every other place. Rent is too high for what you get.

Lease Terms

12-Month

Lease Terms: 12 months. $300 refundable deposit (if no cleaning, damages or money owed) for qualified applicants. Pet Policy: maximum 2 per unit, must be over 1 year old, dogs not to exceed 50 pounds when fully grown, $35 pet rent per pet with limit of 2 pets per apartment. Call for restricted breeds. Pet Deposit: $500 per dog or cat.
