Over the past eighteen months I have used the automatic draft service promoted by Vista Sands and Greystar management. On November 2, the company sent out an email asking residents to check their water bills. On that same day I received an email from Yapstone that my payment had been withdrawn. I figured there was no problem because the software indicated that the payment had been received AND I received no further communication from the property manager about the water bill. I checked my account everyday from November 2 (the scheduled date of my withdrawal) to November 7 (the day the payment came out of my account). On the seventh I noticed that the payment was about fifty dollars less than what it should have been. I called the office and the representative said that the water company did not submit the bills in time and the drafts came out of the accounts without the payment for the water bill.
I went to make my water payment on that very day (November 7) and I found out that Vista Sands was charging residents $10 for the late water payment. Yes, you read that right. The money was in the account, but somehow it is my fault they didnt take the correct amount. Vista Sands position is that since the water bills come separately, residents should have known the amount that should have been paid. My position is, What part of automatic draft do you not understand? The company sells the feature as a way to never have another late payment,but you know when I didnt have any late fees? When I paid my bill myself! I should not have to follow up with Greystar to make sure the software drafted enough money. At the very least, residents should have received more than one email cautioning them to check the amount of the draft.
Apartment was a mess on moving in.
Previous tenants dog destroyed most of the apartment.
On move out I was charged with the replacement of the carpet irregardless of my complaints.
The maintenance staff frequently treated my significant other as if she didnt know what she was talking about as well.
Pick the apartments across the street, they are better for the same location.

I absolutely loves these apartments. Been here since I moved here in 2017... Very nice area and very friendly staff. Parking is always available. Location of the apartments is not busy at all seeing that its located on a dead end road but is surrounded by a very nice shopping area with movies and great food all around...
The staff was nice & I enjoyed the convenience of everything nearby.
