    The condition of the units are deplorable and maintenance is incompetent. There is a horrific smell that words cant describe in my unit upon move in. I discovered that the smell is mold. One of which can cause death in immunocompromised individuals or those with allergies. had to contact corporate to get them to make repairs. Now they are retaliating against me and intentionally damaging my unit. I also have electrical issues which can cause a fire and still nothing done other than continued harassment and refusal to repair. They ripped up the carpets and left the unfinished concrete and refuse to finish it or replace with carpet or tile and according to their representative it is cheaper for them that way. Based on my findings its illegal and they have to finish it or put down carpet or tile. My outlet in my bedroom is shooting sparks and making crackling sounds. I previously lived in Summerville station apartments and they had similar electrical issues and several buildings burned down killing people, badly burning others and leaving over 60 families without homes. many of the residents there believed the electrical problems caused this deadly fire. I reported the outlet issues upon move in and still nothing has been done. They dont clean the breezeway. There was work done on the light outside and a bunch of debris and nails were left on the ground around my door. When you complain they threaten you with their courtesy officer. Please know complaining about their actions is not a crime and you have the right to refuse to allow their courtesy officer in your home.

    Beautiful floor plan, great spacious salt water pool, plenty electrical outlets in every room including the pantry and laundry room. Big windows that allow for plenty natural light, great staff, superb maintenance. Nature at it's best, I love this place.

    We live in the Parks at Nexton Apartments and we are vacating specifically because of new management under Kettler. The property common areas are not clean, are in disrepair and are infested with insects that are over and above what might be normal or comfortable. Everytime you open your door, cockroaches are ready to come in from the hallway and the common areas/lights are filled with spider pods with thousands of babies and spiders everywhere. The staff is incapable of electronic records, sends out nasty 'bill reminders' even when you pay your bill, can't get bills right and they can't get an automatic payment processed. The mail room is locked during regular business hours and maintenance either doesn't show up for requested maintenance or they show up without notice for maintenance issues that don't even exist. All communication from the office is 'stuck in your door' even on windy days and even if it is of a personal nature. They needed three (redundant, different) forms just to allow us to vacate when our lease ends. And biggest issue ... they don't answer phones during regular business hours for existing tenants and if you go in to the office, they approach a tenant like the tenant is interrupting their day (the last occasion in which we went in to the office was because they sent out a notice in error that we had a package in the office when we didn't). Not a pleasant place to live at all. And for the record, we live in one of the largest units, pay more rent than most (over $1,600) and always pay on time (when they are capable of processing payment).
