The newly renovated Schuyler building features studio and 1 bedroom lofts with stylish accents including stained concrete floors, venetian plastered ceilings, quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances, modern lighting and fixtures as well as breathtaking city views.
Looking for a 1 bedroom apartment
I lived there for 2 years in the smaller studio and have never had a bad experience. It is just outside of downtown and the building is very safe since there are video cameras outside facing the parking lot, in the lobby, and on every single floor. The rooftop pool is also very nice and management has given permission for my floormates and I to invite people over for a get together at the pool. Also, staff is very responsive and open to suggestions and maintenance is always quick to fix any problems. I would highly recommend Church Street Lofts.
I love living at Church St Lofts. The finishes are beautiful and the included washer/dryer and TV are amazing perks. The view is also phenomenal, probably the best part of the whole experience. The staff have been great (especially Julie). I had been wanting to move here for a long time and it's everything I hoped it would be.
I absolutely loved my first year living at Church Street Lofts. That is until I re-signed my lease, and the former property manager left. After that, the customer service was less than satisfactory, and almost even hostile at times. My closet flooded, and it took almost a full month to relocate me (which was like pulling teeth to get the owner to arrange my move within the building). After I moved, my second apartment also was leaking from the old pipes in the ceiling, and was inundated with lady bugs (they were crawling in my bed, my clothes, my cabinets). Not to mention, the insulation was very poor and my energy bills were through the roof 9/12 months of the year. I left my apartment spotless, and still accrued a $50 "non-refundable" fee that was never explained to me.
It is obvious that a bare minimum went into the renovations of this place, and the cost of living well in these apartments well exceeds their value. The management is poor and unprofessional. I would discourage anyone I know moving to or currently living in the area to live at Church Street Lofts.
Loud residents, difficult parking, trash pickup at 7am, and a massive surprise bill following move-out. I recommend renting elsewhere.
