What Renters Like and Dislike
What Renters Like and Dislike About Lexington
The subdivision is by the woods, so there's a lot of opportunities to see birds and other creatures, but not to the extent that deer jump out in front of cars. It's also very easy to have a pet in this neighborhood because most people have big yards. In addition, the houses don't all look the same like they do in many newer neighborhoods.
Proximity to the interstate is key. All schools in the area are top notch. Our neighborhood is known as family-friendly.
The neighbors are friendly. It has a neighborhood pool which is well maintained. We have sidewalks. Lots of families of different ages.
I like going out to the local bar or going bowling. I also like to eat out but right now is not the time.
Our neighborhood has nice large lots. You do not feel like you are invading your neighbors privacy. Most neighbors are nice. We are able to build pools in our yards.
The neighbors go out of their way to watch out for each other and offer to help with things like bringing in the trash/recycle containers or walking the dog.
