DO NOT MOVE HERE! Most of the reviews are from a few years back. Sadly the state of affairs has changed. Youre required to pay for a key card that you dont really need considering the front gate is usually broken and stuck in the open position. The term gated is only used in this case to jack up the rent. The gate only covers the road allowing anyone to have access to true comped at anytime. The pool is decent but Im a pretty tall person so the depth is pretty pitiful. The gym is the only thing you actually need a key card for, and thats if you are able to use it. The gym is a few treadmills and elliptical and a free weight station that was meant for senior citizens. The apartments are saddle the worst part. Since moving in ive Lost count at the sheer amount of times maitnence has been called to fix stupid mistakes that were made while renovating the apartment. And renovating yet again means slapping on a fresh coat of paint and jacking up the rent. Hilariously enough the work crew who did the remodel couldnt even figure out how to paint a decent cabinet. The handles fall off constantly and the cabinet doors stick everything because it wasnt painted right. The ceiling spackle Is falling off and getting a contractor out to fix it took weeks. And lastly the office... If I had to sum them up in one word: unprofessional. Theyve falsely accused us of not picking up after our dogs, ironically they never stock their dog bag stations and there is a ton of other dogs poop everywhere. They also threatened to evict us on multiple occasions for multiple reasons, all boiling down to sheer ineptitude on their part. The first was because we hadnt paid our pet deposit, they lost the paperwork, the second was that we had too many pets, we had an agreement with previous management that it was okay, again they lost the paperwork, and lastly that we were late on rent, they clerical error on their part. The overall experience isnt worth the price of rent not by a long shot
Throne blade has a lot of potential. Its boasts luxury living, but in reality the complex has not been well cared for. The buildings are becoming run down and not being maintained. While living there, pipes burst and flooding occurred in multiple units. The management failed to follow up and repair the damages to the ceilings and walls leaving the units looking bad and increasing the likelihood of future issues like mold. The appliances in the apartments, like the dishwashers, are outdated and do not work properly. These are only a few of the issues, but there are many more I could discuss. For the amount of money I was paying, I was highly disappointed with the quality I received.
This Is My Second Tour Here With The First One Starting In 1998 And The Past 6 Or So Years Most Recently. Everyone Is Pleasant To Work With.
The staff at Thornblade are courteous, friendly, always prompt if there are any problems. I have been a resident here almost 2 years. The buildings are always maintained. The staff always inform residents on a monthly basis of any changes , activities that are occurring. Always doing something for the residents and their families. It's a safe, quite, family friendly place to be. I always tell people where I live is Awesome ! I would Highly recommend Thornblade. Thanks to staff for all they do.
