Sterling Pelham Apartments

The First 2 1/2 Weeks at Sterling Pelham as a new tenant..... Pros: -Great price for the location, you've got everything you need with ten minutes around you. -Great maintenance staff experience so far, all questions and problems were solved within three days. -I'm a personally a student, and since I'm in a healthcare program, quiet study space is VERY important to me. The neighbors have been pretty quiet- better than the Gvl Tech dorms anyway- though the walls are pretty thin, so you'll hear everyone walking around upstairs, like giants walking around. It's mainly just from the age of the buildings, most neighbors are pretty relaxed. (so far) - The area around the building is kept clean and trimmed. - The office staff is wonderful and quick to answer any questions. The two I've mainly conversed with are Allison and Janice, they helped make our move in a smooth transition, even with bumps in the road. - Parking near my apartment is open and easy to get to. I feel safe coming home late at night from my job. Cons: -Watch out for potholes! while the area is kept clean, I'm surprised they haven't fixed or filled the potholes in the 260's side. These suckers aren't little, they'll tear out your oil pan and mess up your tires. - The age of the apartments is a downside, because any noise (even though our neighbors are quiet, is heard through the ceiling during the day. Grateful that we all go to sleep at a decent time. I'll be back to update after 3 months or so but these are my thoughts after about a month living here. So far I don't really have any major complaints, besides the creaking of people walking above me, but it's an old building.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! The management is rude and unprofessional. Work orders never get completed. The walls are too thin, you hear everything! Outside isnt maintained at all. The poop box always is overflowed.

Absolutely love this place! I had an issue and the staff and maintenance resolved it immediately. My apartment is nice and Im close to everything. Neighbors are cool and it is quite.

I have certainly had my fair share of problems living here. At times I have not been treated right by the management. But I can honestly say that things have been resolved and they are very polite and are willing to work with me now! I greatly appreciate the change in how Im being treated as a resident and I am now enjoying living here. The community is very dog/pet friendly. Most of the residents that I have met are very nice and kind. There is a very safe atmosphere in the complex. The grounds are generally very well kept, maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently (usually). Thanks.
