Nice at first glance...

The complex is nice at the first glance, but take a deeper look.
Within the first 90 days, I noticed that the common areas are not kept clean, the hallways, elevators, and stairwells are rarely cleaned. Residents do not clean up after their pets, and pile trash up at the compactor instead of placing it inside. One morning I walked out to my car to find a beer bottle smashed on the front of it and a beer poured across a few others, I reported this to the leasing office and while apologetic they couldnt do anything Then the fire alarms started
In my year of renting here there have been over 50 alarms, out of this at least 10 were in the wee hours of the morning (12am-6am). The last 3 alarms that I have been home for the fire department hasnt even shown up. The average response time is 12min from alarm start to truck arrival
As time has gone on, I have found that in general the residents that are moving here are of another class, they are filthy! Trash left in elevators, vomit in the elevator, Trash in the parking deck, trash thrown from the top of the parking deck on top of the compactor. Dog feces in almost all the grass, on the side walks and in the hallways People here have no pride.
The leasing staff here are great, but they unfortunately cant control everything.
If you dont mind living in a filthy place convenient to everything this is the place for you.

I have lived here for almost a year. What Ive experinced in that time:

Trash through hallways and stairwells left for days on end like beer bottles, cigarettes, solo cups.
Paying for trash pickup whether you use their service or not and also having strict rules on how and when the trash is placed. Where do you put required the black garbage cans when not in the hallway since they dont fit in cabinets and there isnt any storage space in the units.
Paying $50 a month per vehicle just to park on the opposite side of the door you walk in to get to your apartment because they now have multiple reserved spaces that are even extra than the extra amount you already pay. All reserved spaces were completely EMPTY at 11:00pm on a Wednesday night resulting in finding a space on the other side of the garage. How much extra are the reserved if I already pay $50 a month?!
FIRE ALARMS! They go off monthly, weekly, daily. Sometimes for minutes, sometimes for an hour. One day there will be a real fire and no one will evacuate because its just the fire alarm going off like always.
Dog play area that is just a space where dogs use the bathroom that no one cleans up after. Its a land mine.
Having a key fob, that you pay extra pay, that will sometimes get you through doors, sometimes not. They are far main access doors leading to and from outside, interior common areas and the garage. You have try multiple times to open the door or gate, if it actually does at all.

NO Stars! Avoid residing here at all costs - where do I begin? I relocated from NYS and wanted a nice apt close to work downtown. This was the best I could google up but, in retrospect, I should have tried harder. The apt they stuck me in was effectively a jail cell with no view or outdoor access. The place was under construction for the entire 10 months I suffered there. ANy view I did have was that of a bulldozer - I still have the photos! There were dog turds in the hallway, vomit and broken glass in the stairwells. When the pool finally did open it had to be shut down due to the broken glass from the party time : millennials who have free reign. THe best part was being charger OVER $1000 rent for a space that was dimlit and drab, less than 500 sq. ft. They insisted on also charging me $50/month for a parking space I did not use. When I finally threw up my hands and left this hole I paid for the entire month but left on the 20th, 2 months short of my lease end which was broken by the dog & pony show management at South Ridge - to this day they have ruined my credit coming after me for $1950 past due rent. I would never recommend this place to my worst anyway. This place is WAY over-priced and poorly managed, run by the same party-mentality millennials who over run the place. I wish I could attach photos but would be happy to relay if desired. Stay far far away . . .
