    There are many negative things I have to say about the complex, maintenance and management. But for the sake of this review, I will be focusing on one specific issue. There has been issues with parking every since I've lived here which is just over a year. Management decided WITHOUT notice to tow certain vehicles for expired tags for more parking space to be available. The property manager only gave notices to residents she deemed WORTHY of a notice. This resulted in the towing of over 20 vehicles in ONE day. But this was NOT done to have more parking spaces available for the residents. This was for financial gain because if you had $75 to pay the tow company, residents were allowed to keep their vehicles on the premises until the tags were updated. This is an unfair and predatory practice. Every resident should have been given a notice, regardless of how long the tag had been expired. Then when asked why everyone didn't receive a notice, she lied and said no one deserves a notice because it's the law. I only know certain residents received a notice because one was shown to me. This person was given 2 months to update their tags. Please look up Southwood Realty reviews and lawsuits before moving here. You will see exactly why you shouldn't move here.

    My sister moved into the apartment last night with a 4 year old and a 2 old daughters. At 11 and again at noon the office called saying the neighbor called in a noise complaint. The children were playing quietly on their beds. They were only making normal children noises. DO NOT MOVE HERE if you have children! This community will be nothing but a pain for you. After my sister talked to the office the agreed to let her move apartments to be away from the complaining neighbor but her rent is going up $250 a month. This is beyond unprofessional and I wouldnt recommend this place to my worse enemy!

    After reading the two negative reviews, I too feel the need to write a rebuttal! Obviously, the answer for them is to rent a house, not an apartment! I have happily and contentedly lived at Ardmore Howell going on three years. I have always been treated with the utmost respect, compassion and even feel spoiled by the entire office staff, maintenance crew and courtesy officer. They are a combo of hardworking, A, #1, class act who can stand on their own. If I have any issues that need to be addressed, they are always expedited with the sharpest precision. Im always met with friendly smiles and made to feel like part of their family! Regardless of how busy they all are, or what kind of day they may be having, they stop what theyre doing and zero in on my concerns. They say what they mean and mean what they say! I love that about them, because the Office Staff are honest, with no hidden agendas, nor surprises. What I love most about the Ardmore is when viewing an apartment, what you see is exactly what you get on moving day. It annoys me greatly when many properties show you a beautiful model apartment and on moving day, the same apartment you viewed is the complete opposite of what was originally shown! The Ardmore Howell has large bright rooms, lots of closet space, modern appliances and my favorite is the large bathroom, that you could practically do a cartwheel in, including the cleverly designed kitchen and Im describing just their one bedroom apartment! The upkeep of the grounds are kept beautiful not only as you approach the property, but throughout! Lastly, Im a caring tenant who joyfully follows protocol, I am not related in any way to the staff, nor do I get a discount on my rent, or get paid to write this honest review! I appreciate your hard work and all that you do Ardmore Howell Road Staff Members! Keep up the good work and kudos to you all!

    I read the past 2 reviews, and felt like I had to chime in. These apartments have been amazing for my family and I. The apartments feature lovely high ceilings, more than enough parking spots(sure sometimes you have to park a little walk away, but this is 2019 exercise is good LOL), and it's very quiet in the building I live in. I live on the bottom floor, and have hardly ever heard my above residents because of how well the building is built. A great place for a family, and a lovely place to start a future.

    Dont let the good outside looks fool you. The only reason the complex got this many stars is 1) the maintenance department is actually very proficient and handles matters quickly and efficiently, 2) the apartments looks nice and appealing inside and out; however, in the 4 months that Ive lived here these are the only two positives that I have found. On my move in day I was simply handed my papers and was told this is important information, Im sure I missed something, and when I think of it Ill call you. So it was off to a great start. I was also told multiple times by multiple management staff members the same information regarding an issue that was not handled professionally, or even remotely well. Months later they said that the policy in question had changed. Whether I was directly lied to or the staff members were simply not up to date on their policies, the management staff is hardly professional when it comes to dealing with issues and will not keep their word. Its all about the money, not the customer for them. Furthermore, if you live near the garages on site, the parking is absolutely absurd. If you come home any time after 6 in the evening and especially on weekends, good luck finding a spot anywhere close to your building. Be prepared to park at least 2-3 buildings away and then have countless people park illegally and block you in because they are lazy and are not punished. The management states that you will be towed, but that is hardly ever true. Upon asking management about the problem, they state they are telling people not to do it and there is not enough spots for all of the apartments. So be aware, there is not enough parking spots per the number of apartments. I get it, there will always be parking issues at an apartment complex, especially on the weekends and I was expecting that, but not to this extent. People park on both sides of the street, blocking those who drive trucks in and preventing them from getting to work on time.

    This is by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in. First off since I have lived here there has been gun shots and cops called twice for two different fights. We pay for a gated community, but it was down for almost 4 months this years because someone hit it and still sometimes is left opened . The parking is terrible three times this week there was absolutely no parking. I had to park my car outside the gate. The staff is lets just say not so nice. I would not recommend this apartment for anyone. Its horrible. Feel free to message me any questions. Ill give you the truth.
