lied about construction timeline, couldn't get the smoke smell out of my apartment from previous user. took them forever to give me my security deposit back. I moved out january 2018
Friendly responsive staff. Excellent location . Clean updated apartments.
Management changed hands while I lived there and new management was extremely unprofessional and did not honor written commitments from prior ownership.
Upon signing with the original owners, we paid a non-refundable "cleaning fee" in lieu of a security deposit with the understanding that this would cover normal wear and tear of the apartment. Upon moving out, however, we were charged with mundane expenses (grout cleaning, oven cleaning, etc...). Additionally, we asked management to walk through the property with us so we could understand if the condition was acceptable and they verified it was.
Even worse, we were not notified that we had an outstanding charge on our account. We found out about this issue once management left us an urgent voicemail informing us that we needed to pay that same day or else they would call collections. When pressed about why we had not been informed sooner, management lied to us and told us they called telling us of the balance. Upon checking my phone records, I verified this was not the case.
It is unfortunate that I had this experience because I genuinely enjoyed the apartments, maintenance, and a majority of my stay. However, because of management's incompetence, I can not in good faith recommend this apartment to anyone.
Overall it has been a good experience. Service is timely. The apartments (mine) is a bit outdated and due to construction there are still some areas within my apartment that need to be fixed. (My apartment renovations were complete months ago).
The staff folks were kind and easy to work with. The facilities were clean, secure, and in an amazing location.
