Apartment life team and staff are incredible. Such a wonderful community in downtown Greenville!
Main & Stone very unprofessional and never followed through on a potential move I
I live just above Two Chefs, on the 4th floor. The obvious perk is that a healthy, delicious, economical meal is just a few steps away. There is also a Greek restaurant next door, but it can be costly. The pool, clubhouse, and fitness center are additional amenities I enjoy.
What I despise about living at Main and Stone is how thin the walls are. They are paper thin! I am sandwiched in between two people, and subjected to hearing absolutely EVERYTHING that takes place in each of their respective apartments, so much so, they may as well be roommates! My neighbor on the left's kitchen is alongside my living room wall. When I sit and try to watch television, I am often met with loud bangs of my neighbors' cabinet doors, drawers, and intense whirring of her garbage disposal. Her washer and dryer are also adjacent to my bed. So when she feels like doing a load of laundry at midnight, I have to deal with the constant loud swoosh of the agitator, until the wash cycle ends. Additionally, her closet aligns directly along the wall of my bed, so when she chooses to drag her hangers, or rifle through boxes, I am inevitably affected.
My neighbor on the right smokes. I could have sworn that smoking in the apartment is not allowed, but he openly smokes and leaves his door ajar. The mixture of acrid cigarette smoke and pungent animal odors then fill the entire corridor, jarring your senses the minute you step foot off the elevator. If my neighbor on the right coughs, I hear it as if he were in my own apartment. I also hear him snore as I am getting dressed each morning. Even worse, I have heard each neighbor enjoy a sexual encounter. Believe me when I tell you that absolutely nothing is worse than trying to sleep and having to listen to the loud, grunting moans of your neighbor.
Lastly, the hallway on each floor is frequently stained from random drippings, and the carpet in front of the elevator is often dirty for weeks on end. I cannot wait until my lease expires in 2 months!
