I moved in to Millcrest Park in July, after owning my own home for 19 years. I was nervous because I have not lived in an apartment in over 30 years. It is absolutely awesome. I look at over 18 apartment complexes and came back to Millcrest 3 times to check it out. When you like it so much, that you just keep coming back, it's a no-brainer. My likes and dislikes are: There is so much to do around here. Location, location, location!!!

I have lived in these apartments for 3 years and the initial management was great. Later new management (current one) came in. This is when everything went down hill. Every time that you reach out to the office which I hardly ever do, I can never get an answer. It always goes straight to VM, this is because they do not have enough people working at the office. When I attempt to go directly to the office, I always find a sign that says they are away which is extremely frustrating. The building and hallway areas are NEVER cleaned so there is constantly trash and it is filthy. If the noise is a concern for you, do not move here. My neighbors are great considerate people however, I can hear their alarm go off in the mornings or even when they are on their phone which is ridiculous. I cant wait to move out of here!
The single bedroom model is relatively spacious, with a decent floorplan. I was there 4 months on a corporate lease and had no issues with the facility or the staff. The location is convenient to a variety of grocery stores and restaurants--around 20 min to CLT in light traffic. My likes and dislikes are: The exercise facilities are well furnished and didn't seem to be particularly busy given how many apartments are in the complex. The pool seemed nice but small--the valet trash service was a nice feature. Never had an issue parking.
