I lived at Talison for a few years when they first opened. Living on Daniel Island is great. We are walking distance to a ton of parks, bike paths, the grocery store and concerts. I highly recommend this place.

We relocated from NYC 2016, Talison Row was a great alternative to NYC living offering a spacious open concept modern apartment in a safe, quiet and clean community. The quality of life of Daniel Island is wonderful as well as the accessibility to shopping, dining, Volvo Stadium and many public parks for families to enjoy. Under new management (IRT), the community has been taken to the next level as they focus heavily on Quality Assurance, Hospitality and Customer Service.

Not too enamored with the management company. Our lease ended and we went month-to-month with a huge price increase. Not only did they charge a $150 month-to-month service fee but they increased our rent by $200/mo. So we were stuck paying $350 more then the months before for the exact same place.
After a year plagued by BLACK MOLD issue in the bathroom. Water stains in bathroom ceiling becoming more prevalent. Damp and humid inside requiring constant use of AC.

Email and Calls to management (Assistant responded) but never got call or email from property manager nor from corporate as I requested. After one email they offered a paltry discount, but if you are going to call yourself a LUXURY Apartment Complex, you got to show it.

Waiting on upper management customer service to "shine" here. A call or email still pending as of mid-May. The outcome will lead to an update of this posting... good or bad. Customer Service Trumps everything these days. Let's see if Talison's management come through. Had to drop em down to a 2-star rating at this point.

rating 5/9/2016 Well expectations were high as the listing was for "luxury apartment" on DI. Staff is really nice and accommodating and the process of application went off without a hitch. However... the problems starting popping up on Day 1.

After being assured there was needed time to "prep" the apartment we arrived to find:

1. Garbage disposal was not working
2. Dishwasher was not working and too 28-days to get fixed.
3. Clothes washer completed a single load before breaking down
4. Clothes dryer ran for 2 weeks and then the heating element failed, necessitate a repair
5. Repaint job was lousy... wrong touch-up paint was used and necessitated a repainting of our bathroom.
6. 2nd month into our rental agreement; commode started leaking.
While work orders were processed as quick as possible, it was an imposition. Is this typical for luxury apartments in the area? Would think not.
