I liked it. I can see living there and loving it. The halls smelled a lil funky, but its an old building. There are some great views !! It was charming and Crystal was patient, down to earth and informative. I just began my search, but I have a feeling this is where Ill choose.

I have lived in Cornell Arms since December of 2012 & hope to stay for many years to come. There are pros & cons. I will start with cons since I like to leave things on a positive note. Cons: ELEVATORS! Constantly getting stuck or breaking down especially on the weekends. I keep hearing about new elevators but well see. Usually at least one works, but the issue is nearing a breaking point where it is either get new elevators or make everyone use the stairs which would NOT help people with disabilities. Another con, that hopefully is a WAS & not an is situation is bugs. The issue was at its worst Jan/Feb of 2019 but finally pest control comes out on a regular basis, though I do have to pester management somewhat, & they use a stronger better quality bug spray now & my apt has been deemed bug free since April. The final con is, God bless them, I love the new management, but I need minor painting done & have needed that since at least April that has NOT been done yet. Sometimes a repair takes a while to get to as well. I will update my review to 5 stars when these minor issues are resolved. I absolutely love the new staff. Miss Crystal the manager & Charles in charge of maintenance are always pleasant & are seriously the nicest staff Ive ever known & make me feel right at home. Both my service dog & I have really good neighbors here as well. Those are huge pros for me as well as the location as I am deaf/blind & cannot drive so I walk everywhere. It has long been a dream of mine to live in a high rise smack downtown in a city & Cornell Arms has more than made this possible for the last six & 1/2 years. The building is older but with oodles of charm & character. Thank you to the staff for being nothing less than personable & professional.

This place honestly deserves 0 stars. The management is way too bad for this apartment to have so many problems. The two best things about the apartment are location and price. I ended up paying about 200 more each month because of fees and extra months charged by the only person who works there. The location is unbeatable but for me, that honestly wasnt worth it. Bad parking, roach problem, rude/ incompetent staff, no heating, and decent wifi when it works- which is not often. Overall, this place should be torn down and have a new apartment put in its place just because of the unbeatable location.
