Palmetto Grove II is a decent/good place to live. You get what you pay for. The rent, compared to other places, is decent. The maintence/pest team is responsive, and the office staff are helpful. I just wish they would have told us about the unit we were staying behind before we moved in; the unit in front of us had suffered Dana he's from being burned, and in the process of restoring the unit, they hired a third party company to do the work. This company was super loud and sprayed the wood with a finish so strong, my wife and I had to stay somewhere else for a few nights. Other than that, it's been okay.

Been here 3 yrs. Rent increases every year while they take away amenities every year! Newer management (hence name change from Berkshires on st. Ives) tries to make place better but they have failed. Maintenance is slow & poorly trained. Property is littered w/ trash now b/c ppl break rules constantly w/ no recourse but property will ask you to snitch on who/what/when & still do nothing! I.e (unallowed pets- Bulldogs roaming freely w/o leashes, put feces not picked up, trash various places aside from INSIDE dumpster). It's def. no longer worth the $900+ to rent & I promise you if u renew you will see an increase of @least $50/60 in rent EVERY RENEWAL no matter what!
