Moved in with the hopes of this place being a suitable place to live... and was SADLY mistaken. On move in day, the apartment was filthy and they had to tell us to come back the next day all because they were unprepared and sloppy, with a list of fixes and things needed to be repaired before we accepted it. None of the electrical outlets worked, there is no overhead lights, pest control came by and i told them we had bugs coming from the dishwasher and they NEVER sprayed or came back. I could go one forever. The upstairs neighbors were BEYOND loud and even after several complaints, nothing was taken care of. Also reported that our entire apartments smelled like weed to which the office replied "They're allowed to smoke in the apartments." ???? Which resulted in them telling us we could move out and cancel our lease as long as we gave proper 30 day notice. Our biggest issue was the upstairs neighbors.. we even considered moving into a different apartment. Then a toilet started leaking upstairs, leaving our walls between the bathrooms soaking wet and covered in black mold. I work in plumbing and told them they could not fix this in 10 minutes. We came home to find out they had painted over the black mold on the ceiling but not under and behind the vanities, and it had spread into the bedroom. We terminated our lease and moved out that SAME WEEK. We had to fork out money to move out of this place because they couldn't keep our apartments at living standards. Also called AMCS who notified us that the city of Charleston actually owns the property. It's section 8 housing, so expect section 8 standards of living. Would never recommend this property to anybody but will say Danielle in the office staff is very helpful and kind.

Safe and clean environment. Pool isn't opened very long and closed often during the season. Laundry mat is broke down 95% of the time. Takes a week or so to get a refund from the 800 #.

They are not always diligent with repairs or complaints. It took 3 mos to have some doors repaired.Over the course of 2 yrs I have lost over 20 dollars in the laundry mat
