The staff in the office has a high turnover rate. I couldn't keep track of the new people after a while. Also people fly though this complex so if you have kids, I'd keep them away from the street. My likes and dislikes are: The location is great. You can walk to Publix for groceries or CFA/Waffle House/Pizza Hut for food. Not too far from things in Anderson. Also not far from I-85 so you can head up to Greenville.
I have only lived at Ashton Park for about a month but so far every aspect that i have looked for in an apartment i have found satisfying. As a young woman, safety is a top priority when finding an apartment in Anderson so out of all the apartments my family and i have looked at Ashton Park posed as the best choice. My likes and dislikes are: It is close to several elementary and high schools as well as Anderson University.
Staff turnover is bothersome. New people in office it seems monthly. Need to enforce some rules about pets and noise after hours. Too many college students. Monthly rent per sq. ft. seems high for this market. My likes and dislikes are: It is a very nice community with a great location. The grounds are
nice and well maintained. Maintenance is responsive and competent with all of our requests. Very energy efficient with low electric bills.
Sure you would pay a little more then other places but not by much. Plus, you get a lot of room for your money, great fast maintenance and a safe & friendly place to live. I looked around Anderson a lot, searching for apartments, and trust me when I tell you that between Ashton Parks & only 2 other places that was on the top of the list.. this place had the best deal. The only problem I have is that I think they have a bad laundry room because I don't think the washers get your clothes that clean & I definitely don't think their dryers drys your clothes enough. My clothes almost always come out somewhat wet. I know everybody is on a different budget so I can respect that but if you can afford it, I think you would be pleased. My likes and dislikes are: I really like how safe it feels around the community. I believe it is because it's a mostly family oriented community.
Would be nice if the handicap spaces were closer to an entrance and not at the ends. My likes and dislikes are: Close to shopping, grocery store Drs offices and hospital.Residents generally friendly and courteous.Staff friendly and helpful.
