The office staff are always very helpful and the maintenance staff always try to fix any problems promptly. The grounds are kept very well.
I love the new dog park they put in. Two reasons I didn't give them an excellent rating is because parking is limited. For a two bedroom apartment you only get one assigned parking spot. Secondly, I live on the second floor, the lady below me smokes in her bathroom and turns the vent on making my apartment smell like an ashtray and after multiple complaints still nothing has happened.
The ac wouldn't keep the apartment cool in the summer. I contacted the manger about it. Maintenance Tried to fix it but said the unit was to small for the apartment. And the duct work neede to replaced but they would never replace it. The heat wouldn't keep the apartment warm in the winter. I had to buy a window unit AC for summer and a space heater for the winter. The owner felt it was more important to build an outdoor kitchen and remodel the office.
We get little notification when for events, changes, maintenance, etc. Every notice left on my door has been pre-dated. For example, the notice is dated the 8th but is received on the 10th for something on the 11th. The office never notifies if there is a package delivered, which means it can sit for a week or more before I track it and realize it's been there. Also, the office closes early with little to no notice, so I can leave work early to make it during hours to just see a closed sign.
The apartment unit is poor quality with old carpet and an insufficient a/c unit that the management is unwilling to appropriately fix. They raised rent for useless upgrades to the community, while the quality of the unit I live in remains unimpressive. They chose an outdated cornflower blue paint for the apartment buildings, and it looks like they sent the whole complex back in time to the 1990's.
