We have been here at Shorewood going on a year, we were a little skeptical coming here with many negative reviews. Let me assure you most if not all were before Diversified Funding took over about 18 months ago. Our unit is up top, townhouse style and we are thrilled. Our unit was completely remodeled and clean. We have a fabulous "backyard " with all kinds of nature and we are able to have a small patio and a Webber grill. The neighborhood is very safe. Kids playing,a great pool, very easy parking. The Maintenance crew takes alot of pride not only on the grounds but how prompt they address any issue you may have. Andrew in the office is very kind and helpful. He took over for Kyle who was also excellent. They have been extremely helpful and understanding during COVID with both my wife and I losing employment. They set up a very fair payment plan to help us navigate during these uncertain times. All in all we are thrilled here. A few details. AC, ice cold, heat included! Never have to be cold again ever. Friendly neighbors. Safe and clean. Pretty much checks off all the boxes in renting. We are happy we made the decision to make this our home.
My fianc and I are renewing our lease for the 4th year. The first few years we put up with a lot of nonsense. When we first moved in, the new management company DFI, purchased the property. There seemed to be a disconnect between previous managers and their corporate office in Boston. The girls in the office would always take a few days to get back to us. It was always a waiting process. Work requests would take days if not weeks. Checks were lost constantly, and the staff didnt seem to care much. The people in the corporate office seem to be a little greedy and are just in it for the money. Long story short, we went to bring in our renewal letter to the office last week to notify them that we were moving out and found there was a new manager. He seemed to be genuinely concerned why we werent staying. First reason was the insain increase in rent. Secondly we had issues in our apartment that havent been address in a year. Every spring we would have ants around the slider and no one ever came. Then a few other little things here and there that were neglected. He took the time to come over to our apartment and document and take pictures of the issues. Maintenance was there within an hour and fixed the problems. He had a pest control agent there the next day to spray. Then set up a follow up meeting to make sure everything was resolved and up to our standards. Honestly we had no intentions of staying but we were blown away by the service that was provided. Moving forward I know we will be happy here and are excited to stay another year. Keep doing what youre doing!
Never called back after. Contacted multiple times via email and phone call and no one called back at all.
These apartments are very nice very relaxing a good area you would enjoy the neighborhood in the friendly people that live there
My wife and children have lived in a townhouse for 4 years now. We really like the community. Good location and price. The office staff, Angy and Jannette are always very helpful compared to previous staff. They help us very much. The property manager Kyle is very easy to speak with and solves issues that weve had. He is very personable and professional. The maintenance staff responds immediately to our requests and fixes the issues. The only issue we have is the flow of water to our townhouse. The company recently hired a water conservation company to change shower heads and faucets. Although water is included it is almost impossible to shower. The response from management is that they will most likely switch all shower heads back. I hope they do because that is the only problem we have.
